Review of VISTAR Location

I recently had a challenging experience at the Vista location that I feel compelled to share. Finding the place was quite difficult, especially since it’s situated in a new building in the fields. The limited operational hours, closing at noon, added to the frustration.
Additionally, I encountered a hefty charge of $1300 from the lumpers for my freight, which felt excessively steep. While I understand that logistics can be complex, this experience left me a bit overwhelmed.
If you're planning to visit this location, be prepared for potential navigation issues and budget for higher-than-expected costs. I would recommend confirming details before heading out to avoid any surprises. Call before arriving. Big mess

This place is much nicer than their old place, but they must be offsetting the cost of the building by increasing the lumper fees. $1,300.00 for them to breakdown pallets of product they offer to their client base seems really excessive. It’s not even my checkbook paying for the lumper fee and I’m pissed off…lol

This place is horrible to deliver. The facility is nice and plenty of room to move in and out of the dock as long as you're not going to there refrigerated side, but the policies of the company and the way staff operates make it a nightmare

Parking on the street, plenty of space for overnight. 0800 appointment, checked in at 0600. Gave me door 5 right away. A little tight but can be done. 45 mins later I was unloaded and giving a lumper fee. 10 mins later I was giving the paperwork. Great staff, fast and friendly. Thanks!

Really nice and very helpful staff. Unfortunately, the location is not really meant for large semis. It's more for box trucks and day cabs. Super tiny triangular shaped dock area. Larger trucks have had to back in from the street and do a blind side into the docks or pull straight in all the way to dock 3 or 4 then do a sharp right and pull all the way up into the the corner with the most room. After that, keep your backing tight as the docks are pretty close to one another. We got here when the city road crew were doing road work, probably fixing to put down new asphalt by the looks of it so they were making everyone parked on the street waiting move to further complicate our day. Murphys law indeed.
