I wish there was a rating that was lower than one star… Growers Market is engaging in the irresponsible practice of dumping brewer's wastewater onto their compost piles, resulting in a foul odor that permeates a radius of over two miles from their illegally zoned composting facility in Laveen. These are not “farm smells” – this is toxic rotting garbage. This operation is situated among established and newly developed residential neighborhoods, which Growers Market knowingly chose for their unpermitted site. The negative impact extends to local restaurants and businesses, as customers are deterred by the unpleasant smell of decaying waste. Residents feel powerless and unheard by local officials, while suffering from the toxic pollution being emitted into the air. It appears that the financial bottom line takes precedence over the health and well-being of Laveen's citizens, who deserve clean air and a safe environment. It is imperative that action be taken to shut down this facility immediately for the sake of community health and safety.

Composting beer, food and bat waste every single day and night. The stench is unbearable. This company is VILE and the harm its doing to Laveen is atrocious. The toxins and stench being unleashed into neighborhoods and eateries (extremely nearby)are being negatively affected by this single entity and their unpermitted waste dumping. The air quality has gone way down and trust that this is no natural "farm smell" at all! This is a toxic, chemical stench being released into the air AND ground...50-80 feet from a very large canal that feeds all throughout the entire valley.

The smell is giving people headaches. I got a headache just being at the dog park. The stench is unbearable and is ruining people’s quality of life. You can no longer go outside your own home.

Their un-permitted composting site off Dobbins and 30th ave leaves a smell of burnt plastic in the air and I live almost 2 miles away and can smell it walking out my front door. It’s smack in the middle of residential homes, small farms, and schools. It’s created an unbearable aroma of chemicals and trash for everyone living nearby.

Disappointed their lack of action to their communities concerns. They are not operating with proper permitting either, confirmed by Maricopa county, hence the hearing next month. You can't even be outside within a 2 mile radius without gagging from the horrendous smell. Making the community members miserable in their own homes for profit. People in the area: continue to complain to the county and be active to keep us safe! This business doesn't care, but we do!!!

The manufacturers are extremely friendly and give generous samples. The vegetables and fruits here are very fresh, and they say they're organic. The price is also fine if you see how fresh the vegetables are. Any veggies look like they've just pulled it out of the tree. I just love the place!
