Cute little spot in Sewickley. Great when it is nice out and the doors are open. Had the peppers, the sausage, spaghetti and meatballs and the table side bread. The bread was amazing the meatballs were very soft. The entrees were good. Didn't realize that they were BYOB. Wish they had that at the top of the online menu. The atmosphere is nice. Overall I would totally go back.

BEST FOOD!!! The most flavorful, unbelievable food around. Piping hot every time, every meal bursts with flavor, homemade bread is out of this world. The chicken limon is unreal, vodka sauce is amazing, pizzas are incredible. Not enough good things to say about the food here. Owners really care about people enjoying their meals and are passionate about what they do. Be prepared to grow a pants size during your course with the portion size, no complaints there.

I ate there 5 days ago with a small group and haven’t stopped thinking about the food since. The pizza is phenomenal. I had the vodka sauce pasta and it was incredible. Everyone of us loved our meals and plan to return soon!

Mambo Italia is an authentic Italian Restaurant right in the heart of Sewickley, PA. The owners are warm, welcoming and always concerned with how you are enjoying the meal and your experience. If you are in the mood for fresh, made from scratch Italian food, then Mambo Italia is the place to go. All of their food is made daily with ingredients as fresh as they come. Mambo Italia uses imported flour, so their pasta NEVER leaves you bloated and sick like so many other restaurants. Enjoying Mambo Italia's fresh made pasta will leave you full and satisfied without any discomfort.
Their entire menu is delicious and I change up my order every time we visit. Some days I am simply in the mood for great homemade pasta, other times it's a chicken or pork entree for me.
I highly recommend their soups and salads; all are incredibly delicious and fresh as if each element were picked from a garden just outside the restaurant. I am extremely fond of the Insalata di Spinaci e Pancetta.
Do yourself a favor and treat the table to the Pane Tritato, it is like a focaccia bread stuffed with Tomatoes, Olives, Garlic and Egg that has been fire roasted, they serve it with a herb infused oil.
Mambo Italia's wood fired pizza is excellent, my favorite is the Diavola. The Diavola is topped with their San Marzano Tomato sauce, their homemade mozzarella, soppressata and romano cheese. It is so delectable that one wants to order a second to take home.
I rarely have room for dessert, but on the occasions I do order dessert I have never been disappointed.
Next time you are in the mood for great Italian, make reservations at Mambo Italia.
FYI – Mambo Italia is a BYOB, conveniently there is a Wine and Spirit store just around the block.

Mambo Italia exceeded my expectations! It was a beautiful day out, so they had all the doors open, which is such a nice touch rather than being stuffed inside some places that can feel like dungeons. Anyway the food was excellent. Pizza is phenomenal. (Highly recommend the pizza). The service was on point. Price is reasonable for what you'd pay in Sewickley. And the icing on the cake is that it byob! Love the byob spots, and they are few and far between. Only complaint is that they do charge a corking fee it's $10 per bottle of wine and $1 per bottle of beer. All and all can't wait to come back to Mambo for that perfect pizza 🤌.

Hands down one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The flavors and the freshness *chef's kiss*. Get the lemon dessert, you won't regret it! I'm still thinking about how good it was 😂.

Amazing food! Definitely in my top 3 for favorite restaurants near Pittsburgh. The Arancini was delicious, gnocchi delicious, gelato delicious, everything delicious. I haven’t had a bad bite of food from there yet. My only complaint is how the sound just echos in that little building. No way to have a nice intimate conversation without screaming, but your mouth should be full of food the whole time anyways.
