Great service, very nice place to eat. It was quite expensive for a small pizza place. But all ingredients are super fresh in fill home made. And fill small Italian shop. Pizza was great crust was great middle slice filled little more done or less sauce kind limp side . Calamari felt was kind under spice or not add was kind bland to tasted but was perfect fried to Golden Brown .

Bob has always been so kind and generous when we come to eat there! We feel like family when we go to IL Pizzaiolo, and the food is incredible!
The new espresso creme Brulee was delicious.

Very nice pizza. Also they prepared it in a record time probably less than 5 minutes. I was in a hurry but the guy who welcomed me at the entrance was super quick. The pasta we got (Shrimp and Lobster Scampi), on the other hand, was swimming in a pool of butter. I did not like that. The server who took over was slightly on the slower side but we eventually got everything we need. Atmosphere was nice and the place was clean and live. They still use plastic containers for to go leftovers. I asked the server for paper based containers for the pasta but they don’t have. Plastic containers are known to be toxic and generate cancer when you put hot food in them. I would rather have my food in a paper container which is also better for the environment.

Had a really great lunch yesterday at the Warrendale location. Kristen was our server and she’s wonderful. She made us laugh with every visit to our table and just made our stay fun. The food was great. We ordered 3 pizzas for the table and some apps and salad and everything was really good. Would def go back in a heartbeat as long as Kristen is there.

For the prices charged I would expect a more refined experience. We had a reservation and were seated immediately, nice. We were squeezed into a crowded section that was cold. We could have gotten to know the couple next to us very well but we didn't want to. Our waitress, who did a good job, was also tending bar. Our food came fast, too fast. However, the bread and oil came after I was done with my salad. My wife was not done with her salad when the main course arrived. My sea bass was very good. Her chicken parm was just OK. I was offered a refill on my small glass of iced tea when we were ready for the check. For a place that charges higher end prices the overall experience was poor.

I love the cozy vibe and warm feel of this beautiful space. The homemade pasta is delicious! This is a more upscale casual Italian spot, with more authentic Italian foods than “Pittsburgh Italian, pizza, burger and fry joints”. The service is never impressive to me here. The most disappointing aspect is that I’ve repeatedly asked for a previous offering of wine that was offered by the glass but is only by the bottle now. It’s a shame, they just can’t figure out how to make that happen. Overall the food is delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful.

We had such a wonderful experience. The food and general service were great. One of the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable by providing individual attention and a personalized bib for baby in our party. All staff members were courteous, friendly and very accommodating-what a pleasant find! We will all be back in the future.
