Deer Creek Winery is a Pennsylvanian winery that sells its wines in this store and elsewhere. When I shopped in this store, an employee promptly said hello, informed me about the flavors of the wines, and gave me a few free samples. I am not an expert about wines, but I generally enjoy sweet wines, and this store sold many sweet wines as well as some drier wines. I bought one bottle, and it was priced reasonably.

I stopped in to grab a few bottles of wine for the upcoming holiday and Mary helped me out. Mary was an absolute delight to talk to and did a fantastic job telling me about some of the new flavors of wine that were available. She offered me samples and I ended up leaving with a half case instead of the two bottles I planned on buying. Grandma's Apple Pie, Diamond Doe, Sugar Plum, and Apple Mead are all fantastic choices. You can't go wrong with any of them.
Thanks for the great service, Mary. You're awesome! This Deer Creek shop is always a good spot.

5 stars for the service! The man giving samples was so kind and patient.
I didn’t find any wine I enjoyed, however…. I’m sorry to say it was a bit like cough syrup.

I’d love to try some ciders if they expand into that as those are usually a bit more forgiving on sweetness.

Mary was so amazing, friendly, and helpful! She helped us learn about the different wines and made recommendations based on our palates. The wine is exceptional, but it is Mary’s friendly service that will keep us coming back to this location!

I have nothing but good things to say. Free tastings, good wine for various tastes, and friendly staff. Heck, they even have a happy hour to grab a couple cheap glasses of wine. We pass the actual winery on the way to our camp in Irvine, some day we’ll actually stop in. Hoping it’s even better! No reason not to stop in if you’re in McCandless though, support a PA winery!

Ben was awesome, so friendly. Did a great job offering us samples, even recommending some of the wines that we would not have considered trying and was surprised we liked them. You could tell he enjoyed his job. I highly recommend this place!
