We were in the process of moving my daughter and we didn’t have a stove, but we had a grill. I called him and the great gentleman I chatted with hooked me up with 8 premade burgers. Plain and some with cheddar and bacon. And he marinated 3 chicken breasts in Italian and 3 marinated in a hickory. The service was amazing. The food was very fresh and tasty. I will be MOST DEFINITELY be going back.

I have always shopped at Tom Friday's. We get our turkeys from there every year. The breasts are always huge, juicy and delicious. This year I ordered a 24# and 18# turkey and 8 pound bon3 in turkey breast. I questioned if they still ordered from the same outlet and was told yes. We were very disappointed this year 2024. The breasts on both turkeys were very small compared to what they should have been for that size turkey and the flavor couldn't compare with previous turkeys. I called and found out the turkeys came from a different vendor, maybe to save money, I don't know. There are new owner/owners. Miss you Tom Friday

I’ve been getting my meat here for a while. That’s always been great quality. My most recent order was a disaster. My steak has huge bones in it, and barely any meat My burger patties are so thin. I put two of them together just to make one Cheeseburger, If they have it together long enough for me to transfer them to the bun. I will probably be looking at other places for services from now on.

Despite some neighbors complaining about the new ownership, tom Fridays has been and still remains super great. The staff has a lot of carryover, if that's important to you, but the new people are great too.

I don't know how many places in Pittsburgh you can order whatever cut of meat you want and get it that day. For my dad's birthday, they cut up 6 filet mignons to the thickness I wanted right in front of me. They've done special orders for me: they got me a whole pork belly for barbecue, and they ordered me a rib roast for Christmas dinner. They have great specials on wings and freezer meats all the time. Plus, they have an amazing ground beef blend, I don't make burgers with anything else. I once drove 6 hours with 10 pounds of their burger blend for an out of town cookout because I knew they wouldn't have as good as beef as Tom Fridays.

Have the new owners added slot machines? Yes. Have they changed the layout? Yes. Are they still as involved, engaged, and friendly as Tom was? YES.

This place is the best butcher shop in Pittsburgh, and there's no doubt about it.

Customer service is excellent and quality merchandise. Clean also products you don't see at grocery stores.

I was told about Tom Friday’s from a friend of mine who used to own a local restaurant and she swore by them. She wasn’t wrong! I walked in, took a peek around and didn’t see the top round I was looking for. I asked the butcher at the counter if they had any. He apologized and stated that they were understaffed but that he’d be more than happy to check for me. My hope was to get two slabs to make some beef jerky with. I got two perfect slabs and was able to make some of the best jerky I’ve made to date with it! And it was so much more affordable than you would get at any grocery store.

I also got some of their Cajun crab dip which my girlfriend and I were VERY happy with. I can’t wait to try their hot sausage! Great local butcher!

I called ahead to do an order for pick up. I wanted a meat special, but all of the plans have pork ( which I don't eat) Mr. Tom was able to put me a package together just for me with no hesitation. I normally shop in store, but with work and my schedule sometimes its hard to. I always receive great service. Thank You, Tom Friday's
