Wonderful market with a balance of vendors selling fresh fruit and produce, hot food (gyros, tacos, biscuit breakfast sandwiches), amenities (local made soaps, seasonings, and spirits), and other enticing edibles (frozen local bulk meat, coffee beans, cold drinks and teas, and cheeses and spreads).

In the summer, this is our "go-to" grocery stop, and then we fill in anything else we need from the grocery store. It is fun to watch the seasonal foods come and go at each vendor stall and chat with the friendly proprietors. Lots of good people watching!

There are portable toilets on site. Level entry for accessibility. Not a lot of shade! It can get hot. There are a few seats and tables here and there to rest or enjoy a snack.

A foodie’s go-to market for local farm produce and local small bakeries. 😎😎😎. It’s great to see that it’s going on even in winter (mild Pittsburgh winter). Several of the businesses are truly remarkable.

RECOMMENDED:
— PITTSBURGH PIE GUY: whoever he is, he knows pies 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩… Both savory and sweet. Being spoilt of Brit pies, this is a great source of savories.

— WILD RISE BAKERY: excellent source of breads, their seeded multigrain is very highly nutritious 😎😎😎😎😎unlike the usual high calorie highly processed breads in this town.

— COLDCO: a fantastic source of fresh vegetables. Great to see greens in the winter👍👍👍👍👍.

— REAL FUNGI: superb source of mushrooms. It’s surprisingly pleasant to see FRESH morels and blue oysters in the winter👏👏👏👏👏.

I just moved to Bloomfield and this is the prime spot for produce, fun, and getting to know the community. My boyfriend and I come by every Saturday and our favorite place is Sam Market- they have the best Mediterranean food! Their Gyros are so good- they fill them up with so much meat. They also share free samples and we love their baba ganoush! They are the best for lunch. Also all the other produce is amazing - we have learned about so many other vegetables and fruits we didn’t even know existed and it helps us with new recipes during the week. The parking is great along liberty, plus it’s very LGBTQIA+ friendly which is nice and comfortable being in public. This is the best thing on Saturdays- check it out

Good selection of produce, meats, dairy, foods, and other types of merchandise for sale. Special entry for those unable to stand, senior citizens, and immuno compromised. Early entry permitted for those people at 8:45.

Must wear mask. No touching of produce, no eating on site. You must order from the seller and they will bag your selection. Ready made items now prepackaged. Must follow one way circuit.

Market now has own website where you can order in advance. Likewise certain vendors permit you to order online ahead of market and pickup there. Definitely go this route to avoid lines!

Arrive early to avoid wait times. On street parking readily available.

I absolutely love the Bloomfield Saturday Market. This is a staple of the Bloomfield community, and it's the perfect way to start your Saturday morning. All the vendors are great, and I always have such an amazing haul of fresh produce and other food whenever I stop by. Even in the winter months when the market goes to the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, the vendors and their offerings are still worth the visit. Love!

The Bloomfield Saturday market is definitely the best market in the area. The vendors are excellent and so friendly- even when it is freezing outside!!

My wife and I love this Farmers market! It is small but has a lot of fun stands from delicious pigeon bagels, home made pickles, to the freshest of fruits and vegetables! It's a great way to start any Saturday!
