I didn’t think I would have a review for at least a few weeks since we just picked up our first order on Saturday. However, I had purchased the uncured corned beef and we defrosted it immediately to have for our St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Sunday. My sister purchased a corned beef from Whole Foods and cooked that separately. I haven’t done a corned beef in a while so after some research (looking for the laziest way to prepare it) I pulled it out of the vacuum seal bag, put it in my crock pot, covered it with water and 1 can Guinness and let it go on low for 7.5 hours. When we sat down to eat, none of us could believe the difference. The color was richer, the meat was more tender, there was far less fat and it lifted right off, and the flavor was outstanding! I’ve already converted my sister to Tussock Sedge and her friend in Napa CA wants to know if they ship! If you’re on the fence, just try something and you’ll taste the difference immediately.

We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from Tussock Sedge Farm and hands down it was the best turkey we have ever eaten. Even our more fussy eaters and those that claim they don’t like turkey loved it! It was very juicy and tender. I was also able to make some delicious veggie turkey soup and lots of broth. ALSO, just had the bacon burger for the first time. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!!! It was amazingly flavorful. The quality is exceptional. Many thanks to Tussock Sedge Farms for producing such fine quality products. It’s better than dining out:)

The best meat and eggs I’ve ever had. Their chicken, beef, lamb and eggs are outstanding. My husband said it was the best chicken he’s ever had. I have to agree. The rib eyes are huge, the eggs are incredible! It’s like going back to the 70’s and early 80’s when meat was pure and delicious. Worth EVERY PENNY. Grateful to this farm for putting in the work to farm and share with the rest of us. THANK YOU!

Tussock Sedge Farm is a wonderful place! So far, had a christmas beef roast, we've made tallow from Tussock Sedge's suet, and kefir from their wonderful raw milk and kefir grains. The people are kind and professional, their products are the best, and we love supporting local, regenerative farming. Can't wait to explore more of their offerings.

I've been buying all my food from Tussock Sedge Farm and I can confidently say it has completely changed the way l eat and shop for food. After doing extensive research on the poor quality, additives, and questionable sourcing of supermarket meats, I knew I needed a better option. That's when I found Tussock Sedge Farm online and I haven't looked back.
I had always thought that if I bought organic at the supermarket that it was enough. Now I know otherwise! For instance, who knew that chicken should be corn and soy-free not only organic? You can’t find that in the supermarket anywhere!

We have been purchasing our meet from Tussock Sedge Farm for a while now. Their products are amazing in flavor, with the added bonus of being healthier for my family. I have previously reviewed their meats. This was the first year they have offered turkeys for Thanksgiving and I wanted to leave a review for that as well. WOW!!!! We could not believe how amazing the turkey was. To be honest we are not big turkey lovers, we make it every year out of tradition, but we also make another form of meat with the turkey being everyone’s least favorite. It was the opposite this year. My husband said the meat was so easy to carve. It was moist, tender, and I never knew turkey could be so delicious, I didn’t even use any gravy! Most impressive was that usually we have to force the kids to eat some turkey. This year all 5 of them went back for seconds. Thank you Tussock for all of the work you put into the quality of your food. And an even bigger thank you for adding turkeys this year, it was a huge favorite in our home!

We absolutely love this farm! We switched to raw cow milk (love the glass jars by the way) a couple of months ago and now my husband, myself, and our 5 kids will not drink anything else! We've tried the lamb, which was like nothing we have ever had before - we still talk about that meal it was so good! I've also started using the marshmellow tallow and my skin is glowing more than it ever has! Looking forward to trying more from this farm. Love the website and online ordering & pick up is seriously a breeze - easy and convenient. Everyone we've met has been super helpful, kind and actually care about their customers and community. My only regret is that we waited so long trying them out - don't make the same mistake I did and check them out today if you haven't already!!

I've had the pleasure of meeting the owners during my visits, and they were always friendly and welcoming. Supporting local farmers like those at Tussock Sedge is essential, and while their products may be a bit pricier, I believe it's well worth the investment. I look forward to supporting them again in the future!
