I had no idea that Just Born were the manufacturers of Peeps, because I was here for the wonderful Goldenberg's Peanut Chews.

Since 1917, these bite-sized candy pieces are made here. Goldenberg's company was acquired by Just Born in 2003, who made some small adjustments to the product to try to expand beyond the mid-Atlantic. Originally, a military ration bar, they've since been released for the public to enjoy. Chewy, chocolate, peanuts. A delicious treat that I had had as a child and rediscovered more recently.

They sell them in the original wrapper design at Cracker Barrel with the other candy. Yay!

I have been a fan of their products for over 50 years. I always buy their hottamales when i come back for a visit to Canada or the States. Great product!!!!!

Its a shame not many stores sell these nowadays. 😢😢😢😢😢。 Wouldnt mind if i could get it in Asia.

Blue Raspberry Peeps: Peeps never really played a role in my Easter candy experiences as a kid, so they don’t carry a nostalgia factor for me. That being said, the handful of flavors I’ve tried have done little to impress me and I’ve been somewhat critical of them. Blue raspberry is one of my favorite flavors though and it was enough to get me to buy these for the first time a couple Easters ago. The packaging easily caught my eye as it’s a lovely combination of blue and purple hues. Each package contains ten beautiful blue peeps (it doesn’t hurt that this shade of blue is my favorite color). A sugary coating covers each marshmallow bird. The flavor is a right on the mark sour blue raspberry, but it’s good. All of the sour aspect and flavor comes from the outer coating with the inner marshmallow being like a standard Peep. Interestingly, I’m on the team that believes Peeps are best enjoyed stale (don’t knock it until you try it, I was once a non-believer). I find they are best at two to three weeks after being open to the air. The flavor is not altered in any way, but the texture vastly improves. The Peeps become much chewier with each passing week. I don’t think I would let them go for more than a month though. If you like any other blue raspberry candies or blue raspberry ICEE’s then these are for you. Doughboy approved

They use red dye #3 which has been shown to cause cancer in rats. The FDA permits the use of this dye in food for some odd reason, but has banned it in cosmetics since 1990. I will no longer be buying anything from them until they do the right thing and use a safer, more natural colorant.

It really says a lot about a company, when the employees go out of their way to treat a truck driver like a human being. I was already hands down the biggest peeps lover in the world. But after meeting these wonderful people as a delivery driver. NOBODY better say a bad word! Please keep being wonderful Just Born!

Being a big fan of Peeps I stopped in on two different occasions. The first year a very nice lady came to great myself and my parents and brought us some samples. She spent time with us telling us about the company. The next year I decided to stop in again, this time with a friend I was traveling with. The same lady came out and she remembered me from the year before. Again, she brought out samples, even one that was not yet in stores. And again, she spent time with us. It was very nice that she took time out of what I am sure is a busy schedule and to remember one person from one encounter a year ago made my day. This was a few years ago but still something I remember.

This place is their factory. Parking lot arrangement is a little strange. There are several entrances to their parking lot. But only one exit is supposed to be used which is at the traffic light. I believe that this one is the first factory that they built. It's been in Bethlehem for quite some time. There isn't a store here. You need to buy the products in other stores. Marshmallow peeps are in the stores now mostly grocery stores and I've seen them at Walmart.

Best candy in the Leigh Valley, been eating their candy since I was a child even lost my tooth to them too, but it was all great. Still eating them at my 50th birthday. Just can't get enough of them. Kudos to them.
