WASTE OF TIME. These people are no help. they only care when it comes to taking your money. I apply for my CWL and wait months with no updates. Every time I call they tell me to hold on so they can check where it is then Hang up on me. After about 4 months now my application says my license is Issued and I will get it within 2weeks it’s going on to a month and nothing. Don’t even bother calling the number they have online it’s just going to put u in a Loop

Trying to get your concealed carry is a long frustrating process. If you have questions about anything you will have to go through many different options only to be told to call back later all representatives are busy. I understand how busy they are with Covid but I have been dealing with FDACS for 4 months now and only have been able to reach a real person on the phone once. What should be a fairly quick process takes months with little to no help from staff.

The fact that they charge a $4.88 "convenience fee" to pay online on a government website (when people using their site saves them money!) that barely functions after spending millions to develop a terrible website that isn't user friendly really grinds my gears.

On the plus side, Alex was awesome and the people are very friendly and helpful. The Florida government websites are so awful for user experience that every single time you need to do something you have to talk to a person to guide you through it. Where is the money going to develop the website? This is what we get for millions of dollars in 2023? Infuriating.

Phone over 2 hours, they answered and said they have to transfer me to the help desk, and said will have to wait another hour. Why would i have to speak to the first lady in the first place!! This is ridiculous.

I don't understand how something so essential to the public can't have its regional offices open for a better customer service experince than having everyone on hold for hours at a time with unanswered Questions or even being able to speak to a customer service rep. Someone explain how a walgreens can be open to the public but a state essential business can't ? In my opinion Very unprofessional not to have a online CWL replacement service but would rather have have almost thousands of replacement applications sent in by mail, making it take even longer before any of the CWL holders get their replacements. OPEN REGIONAL OFFICES TO THE PUBLIC THANK YOU !!

John Roberts deserves a raise and a medal for how quickly and efficiently he handled the issues with my security license re-application. Thank you so much! Finally getting life back on track. 😁

This is the worst customer service ever. If you call them your on hold for hours and then they transfer you around to tell you to hold again and hang up. Being a government agency this is the most unprofessional and frustrating call center I've ever experienced. Get this fixed!!!
