We had a great time visiting the highlands cows! Victoria is a great host and handler to the cows she taught us so much about them. We got to pet and feed them and even got to see a new baby that was recently born. We will definitely be back to see everyone again. We highly recommend stopping by we loved that it was a private meeting and you can bring up to six people if not more! Thank you for the great time Victoria we’ll see you again soon !

Black Rock farm was the absolute best choice for our family celebration. From the minute you leave your vehicle you feel welcomed. From beautiful land to the warm embrace of a cozy barn you truly left all the fast paced life behind. The environment was safe, clean, and surprisingly fresh to say it was a barn. Victoria has taken special care in making her guest informed of the traits of Highland coos, and also making sure our trip was relaxed and enjoyable. Our ages ranged from 13 to 62 and we each walked away smiling. The coos are well maintained and deeply loved. I can not recommend this high enough and hope to return in the future.

Highland Hangout was a surprise for my wife, Savannah. From easy booking to super friendly owner and VERY adorable (and hungry cows), it was an unforgettable experience! Victoria was amazing, very personable and our interactions with her made us feel like we were just part of the family! Hands down one of the best experiences ever and cannot thank Victoria enough for how fun and informative she made our time. Will be bringing our nieces at our next visit!

We had our Highland hangout this past Saturday. Victoria was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and patient. She answered many questions from our group and made it such an enjoyable experience. The cows were adorable calm, majestic and well-tempered. We got to feed them hay and some other special treats, brush them and take a lot of good photos. Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested!

Visiting Black Rock Farm and meeting, Victoria was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into the barn and immediately felt right at home with all of the shaggy haired friends. One of the highlights was the opportunity to brush and feed the cows. They were incredibly gentle and friendly, making it easy to connect with them. One of my favorite moments was being able to feel Bert‘s baby move inside of her. I can’t wait to come back with my family and see the cows again.
So much thought and care has gone into making this a memorable experience for any who attend.

Best Saturday I’ve had in a long while was at Black Rock Farm’s Raising Highland Cows 101 workshop. As a federal employee who may be out of a job soon, I’m exploring ways to have a life outside of a politically-charged desk job and a no-slaughter farm life has always appealed to me. From registration to arrival and an excellent overview of their new life raising highland cattle, Victoria and Jacob give you a glimpse into what it takes to keep these beautiful animals healthy and happy. Plenty of time is allotted to ask questions and get some hands-on experience. Highly recommend!

We had the best afternoon with your mini Highland cows. I cannot get over how cute and cuddly they are and we loved every minute. We definitely want to come back! I highly recommend this experience!

Had a wonderful experience. Wayne was such a cutie! The craft was fun. Loved getting a chance to brush, and see adult & other calves. There was a lovely cafe trailer, Fox something for hot beverages. I've already recommended to friends.
