I come to Barnstable farm and pet for almost anything horse related I need! I come for show shirts, grooming supplies, tack and other random things. The prices are always reasonable, I thrifted a ariat vest for like less than half of original price. There was just a small brown dot that came out in the wash, as if I wouldn’t get it dirty again!! I truly love this place and wish they had one in every town

Great quality farm & pet products, affordable prices and knowledgeable, friendly staff. One stop shopping for my horse, dog and cat. I almost always come home with something I didn’t realize I needed (like the deerskin fleece lined winter work gloves I grabbed at the end of January, which I’ve worn almost daily since purchasing. Thank you Kali for recommending them!)

It’s also a fun visit seeing the happy, healthy barnyard animals that live here; the goats are so cute and playful and the beautiful peacocks put on quite the show. And depending upon the time of year, the baby chicks are just the cutest!

A true cape codgers best bet. Great spot for feed and animal accessories. A real old school feed store. You won't find tractor parts or rifles but quality supplies for your farm are in abundance. Take it from this old codger the friendly animal lovers here will help you out and steer you in the right direction.

I love this place! The eggs are the best and freshest in Barnstable. The family who runs the place and their employees are cheerful, helpful and kind . The animals outside are fun for the kids to watch and they have great honey sticks. We also buy our Merrick pet food here and enjoy supporting a local business. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Great selection of high end dog food and treats. Also I needed a brush as my shepherd decided to blow his coat while on vacation. They had the best prices on all of the brushes and furminators that I've ever seen.

To all of the people that are coming here absolutely trashing an amazing store and an amazing local business owner, I have one question. Have you ever even stepped foot into the building? Because if you had you would know that whatever this video said, is 100% false. Just about every person I know around here shops at Barnstable Farm and Pet for their livestock, their pets, and even themselves. The staff is all extremely knowledgeable. They all have experience actually working with animals, caring for animals, and just being around them. You don’t know what kind of food to get your senior dog that that you want to give the best care possible, but don’t know what that is? Ask them and they’ll know. Your child is thinking about getting into horse shows, but you can’t afford the thousands of dollars it can cost to even get started? Barnstable Farm and Pet has an amazing consignment shop, which has everything from saddle pads, to saddles, to boots for your kid. They have it all, and everything they take in is inspected to make sure you’ll be getting good quality at a good price. Whoever posted this video slandering and amazing company seriously needs to grow up. The employees at this store have never been anything but kind and helpful to anyone who had ever walked in their doors. If they didn’t care about their animals, then why would so many of us trust them with helping us make the right decisions for our animals, who are family to us? We wouldn’t. Not only is Barnstable Farm and Pet an amazing business, it’s also a local business owned and ran by an extraordinary women who knows her stuff. As do all of her employees. Anyone who is making false accusations against them, without knowing what they are saying, those are the people who are in the wrong. Grow up and don’t believe everything you see on tiktok, know what you’re saying before you wrongfully accuse an amazing business, a phenomenal women, and her insanely knowledgeable employees of harming any animals. Not a single one of the people that work there would ever even THINK about doing anything harmful to an animal if any kind.

Overall this place is great! I went in today to buy some seed. I asked a simple question..how many more do I have to buy to get one free? I was not acknowledged. I asked again. At this point I was yelled at.. with three other customers in line behind me saying that the computer system was being used by the other cashier and couldnt give me an answer. Very rude and unprofessional! So disappointed with the disrespectful attitude from these two young girls. Show some manners!

The store called me back within the hour to answer my question. Made all the difference.. Thank you.

Very very very disappointed in this place. We decided to get some baby chickens. The day they had some come in, they called us as we asked, which was great. We go in and pick up 4 chickens. Our 6 year old sons birthday is coming up, so yesterday after picking him up from school took him in to pick out a very own baby chick of his own. He loved it so much and named it Annie. Annie was a great addition to the baby chicks we already had from earlier in the week. Unfortunately, though, Annie passed in the middle of the night last night at 2 am and we were awoken to the other chickens chirping to get our attention. We had a burial for Annie and our son was very sad. He was so sad, we decided to make another trip to this store and get another one. They refused to replace the dead baby chicken and insisted that if we wanted another one for our very sad son, we would have to shell out the cash to buy a new one. Very very very disappointed in this service. Any store would replace a broken item. And this was more than an item; it was a chicken, a life, a pet. What has the world come to.
