Stopped into this winery while up in Camp Verde after receiving a recommendation from individuals in the Visitor Center. It was my mom and I, and although it was a little warm out, it was cooler than Phoenix and we chose to sit outside on the patio. There was indoor seating offered, however, the outdoor seating was shaded and ran alongside an irrigation ditch, that acts as a little river. I am by no means a wine connoisseur, but really enjoyed their Rose. I will say that my mom wished for a sweet wine, but as a winery they enjoy making dry wines! Enjoyed the company of the other individuals on the patio as well as felt very welcomed by the staff and owner! Everyone was very personable and I would definitely recommend this winery if you are in the area! Additionally, you are able to see a good portion of the vineyard from where we sat outside, giving you a very good sense of local farm to table!

I can't say enough about this place! The owners are awesome! They take the time to sit and talk with you like you're old friends. The property is beautiful! Even on a 100 degree day we sat outside under the beautiful trees a cool breeze and the hummingbird show was unbelievable! Now the wine... amazing! I did a flight and then a glass of junkyard and brought a bottle home! Delicious ? This is a super dog friendly place but being as hot as it was no doggies that day. Can't wait to come back with our pups

Amazing little gem right off 260 in camp Verde. Lady's were very nice during tasting. Made my wife and I feel like neighbors just sharing a glass of vino. Grounds are amazing and I love the hill that are growing. A definite place to stop if staying in Verde valley. Very well priced and very friendly staff.

Stopped by on our way home to Phx, and found this quaint, friendly, intimate venue.
The owners were there and awesome, wine was great! Its small, family feeling, hidden little gem in Camp Verde. Highly recommend!

Wow! What a delightful surprise! We visited Salt Mine Winery on a sunny, slightly cool Sunday afternoon. We were warmly greeted by the staff, some other visitors and two very sweet dogs. There were tables inside and out, and we chose out. The table was immediately sanitized and water was brought to the table. There are vineyards as you drive in as well as just by the tasting area. There is also a small body of water like a creek or something. We opted to taste all 9 wines which we shared. The wines are all based on Italian grapes and some names we definitely didn’t recognize. They are fairly dry and none of them are what we would call sweet. We liked them all, some better than others, but they were all tasty! And I can’t say enough about how friendly and informative everyone was. It was just fun chatting with them all! We walked away with a nice stash of wine (we did pay for it!), and can’t wait to go back again. Kudos!! Don’t miss this one! (FYI – we have been to quite a few AZ wineries and this has been our favorite!)

Absolutely lovely winery. We came on a Saturday afternoon on a whim and spent a relaxing couple hours tasting great wine. Biscuit the dog greeted us as we pulled in, which we loved. Our server was very gracious about suggesting wines for us to taste. She also shared about the history of the wines, which we really enjoyed. There is a quiet outdoor patio and we were lucky enough to have live music. The wine tastings were $10 for 5 pours plus we got a bonus tasting of a new wine. If you purchase two bottles, you get a tasting free. Definitely worth a visit!

Can’t say enough good things about this winery. My husband and I decided to stop on our way back into Scottsdale and we are so glad we found this place. The owners are sweethearts and the wines were very enjoyable. We came on a Saturday and also were lucky enough for live music and patio pups.

Low key with high quality wines that are a good value. Worth a stop. Nice outdoor space where you can bring a picnic and enjoy wine tasting. Very friendly service.

Right next to a farm with awesome chickens, pecan orchard, and you taste among the vines and next to a creek.
