As a gardener, this is a great place to get soils, soil amendments, and nutrients. They are local and family owned, so they will start carrying things people ask about. I don't do chickens, but they have chickens, turkeys, and stuff to keep them.

They also have great cats, but they are for petting and not for sale.

A wonderful farm supply store in the heart of Waltham! They sell practically everything you could want – feed for layer hens, live chicks, fencing, rabbit supplies, gardening seeds and supplies, tools...the woiks. They will deliver cords of wood. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are good. You might find better prices online or at the big box alternatives, but the difference isn't that dramatic. I buy practically everything there for my back yard hens. Visiting there is always a pleasure; it's like going back in time to the days when farmers came to town to stock up on supplies. A down home, friendly place. Highly recommended.

We bought baby chicks and they grew so big so fast and didn’t die and they have good supplies for gardening and pet supplies the workers work hard and are so nice that’s why where going back to get more chicks today love it ❤️🙄

Good, nearing great, selection of gardening, estate improvement and pet management supplies / tools to be found here. Their hours aren't always as convenient as I'd like, but this is where you find what you couldn't find it at the big home improvement stores which have a Gardening department. It's best to have your shopping list made going in since unrestrained 'browsing' can get expensive.

Nice store! Whether you enjoy gardening or are a hipster who pretends to be into "urban gardening" until you actually see what a real garden/farm supply store looks like. The staff is super friendly, and there's pretty much everything you'd expect from a local garden store.

I went for bird seed, and there was an entire aisle of it, plus nice big bulk bags of it too. They have a discount program you can sign up for if you buy a lot, and they also run bulk specials at well for like half price on some of the seed. I recently got a couple tons of bird seed which should last long enough to grow my flock of hell-spawn doves.

Staff were really friendly and eager to help/carry stuff as well. Really nice place.

I have wanted to go to this store for 49 years and today I had a few seconds and got to go here. Excellent mouse products for those of us that dine on mice and the rat traps were fantastic if you are looking for the big juicy rat to be served with your Thanksgiving meal. Where I am from, we love to grill em and then munch on their feet. They also have a few fishing things for 3-101 years folks and tons of good canning products. One of the cats greeted me and totally spoke english and was most gracious in directing me as to which direction I needed to go to find my products I needed.
