I don't even know where to begin. Many college towns lately seem to look down on me for not being a student. I am not sure if it is because I am not contributing to their college bank roll, I would hate to think this is the case. I have ALWAYS felt like an outsider. I pulled an all-nighter having improv performance fun, and I didn't feel any different from the students. To be completely honest, I felt like I was back in high school while attending drama class, which, in all honesty, kept me in school enough to at least graduate. I want to express how extremely important the arts are for students to participate in, especially while residing within a volatile home environment. While in a state of complete confusion about who I was during that time, I so desperately needed an outlet to express restricted emotions and feelings that may not have been able to be expressed to distracted parents. I will ALWAYS remember DramaTech Theatre with great fondness.

Thank you 😊 💓

I saw Cabaret there, and no joke it was better than Hamilton at the fox. I cried, I laughed, I had so many feelings. Cabaret is one of my favorite musicals, and the cast really got into it. Sally was incredibly believable as a deeply unaware and unconcerned young woman, who really believed that nothing bad would happen. The innkeeper was deeply believable as just trying to survive, especially during her solo. The Master of Ceremonies was hilarious and perfect, and I loved when he wouldn't hand Sally the mic for the roommate song at first. The dark part of the musical, the second half, was transcendent. It really showed deeply the different reactions to war, violence, oppression, and tragedy, in a way that just... Flowed.

Just saw "Cabaret" and it was great. A classic black box floorplan makes every seat clear to the performance. Live orchestra too. Well done actors, musicians and crew!
