We went for the first time yesterday. Best steak we have ever made! Cooking up the bacon tomorrow! Mike is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service, clean shop, and an overall great experience. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent spot. Amazing quality and good selection. Wonderful people who run the business and work there, I recommend this place highly if you want to enjoy your meals even more because the meat was such a highlight and not just a part of the meal.

Mike called us to let us know that our order was ready for pickup. I asked him his hours and also asked whether I should call to confirm that’s he’s open before I leave (it’s a 30 minute drive, 1 hour round trip). He confirmed his hours and said that I didn’t need to call first, that he would be open during those hours.

Two days later I drove to pick up my order. When I got to the shop there was a sign that said “be back in an hour”. I waited outside for about an hour and eventually left as it was getting late and there was no sign of anyone coming.

I went back 2 days later during the listed business hours. Again, the shop was closed. I called Mike and he said that he wouldn’t be back until later that afternoon as he was out doing business in the field.

I let him know we were going away the next day and I wasn’t sure if we’d have enough time to make another hour long round drive before we leave. He then got upset. He said that if we’ve already made 2 trips, he was sure we could find a way to make a 3rd. He said that we needed to pick our order by next day or else he was going to charge us a $50 holding fee. He then hung up on us as we tried to coordinate another pickup plan.

We understand that it’s busy season and we weren’t even upset about needing to try a third time. We made two attempts to pick up our order during his posted business hours, yet he blamed us for not picking up our order in a timely manner. He then threatened to charge additional fees that were not listed or previously agreed on.

We finally have our order after spending a total of 4 hours in the car and driving 110 miles back and forth. The meat is excellent, easily 5+ stars. However, due to unacceptable customer service we will not be doing business here in the future.

Picked up some great kielbasa and bratwurst today. Today I am adding to my initial review. I got spicy kielbasa and maple breakfast sausage. Can't wait to try them
