Great little restaurant/bar the service was Exceptional. Drinks were so good friends I was with had several. Then we ordered food. The Lee Ming with names potatoes, salads, paragraphs was phenomenal. I ordered chicken salad. It was phenomenal as well. Salmon dinner also phenomenal. I highly recommend this little restaurant. You will enjoy your experience here.

The ambiance is nice. But…the way this restaurant positions itself, between prices and everything else, more is to be expected. First - no blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis. Our server apologized and shared that people are always asking for them and many people bring their own. So…why not have them? We ordered the oysters and they were so small - like, ridiculously small. The server brought us another half dozen, on the house, which was nice, but also a weird way to admit their oysters should not have been served at full price. Our entrees were OK, but overall tasteless. I had the special - lobster and shrimp risotto. Absolutely no seasoning and there may have been one small piece of lobster, but likely just a piece of shrimp - the lighting is very dim. We all had to ask for salt and pepper to actually give our food some actual flavor. Disappointing experience given the hype and the price. Our server was extremely gracious and accommodating.

The new expanded menu is exceptional.
My husband ordered the pork tenderloin, and I had the lamb. Both were delicious.
We also had the swordfish with risotto, the last time we had dinner there. Great service,fabulous food.

Always a high quality and consistent option for dinner, but this review is for their new brunch offering. Highly recommend! The food is as good as their dinners and absolutely delicious. The brioche French toast with fruit compote was amazing, as was the breakfast sandwich with greens and potatoes. Nice drink list, too. Reasonably priced for an elevated brunch experience.

Well, firstly, let’s start with everything taking 1000 years to come out. Ordered the bruschetta appetizer it Took a while to come out and when it did come out, it was burnt that’s all I could taste was burnt and there was nothing special about it. It was sliced tomatoes slapped on top of a piece of toasted bread for $16 and then I received my salmon pretty much raw and the lobster risotto was covered in pieces of shell, I could not eat it. Coming here was literally the worst restaurant experience I’ve truly ever had and I paid the most for it. Complete waste of $180 food quality did not match the price. 0/10

The best in western mass in every way. Chef owned, and he executes every dish perfectly. Cocktails are generous and exquisitely prepared, and the servers are exceptionally well trained. We've dined here dozens of times and not once had less than a stellar experience.

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere here at Food 101. The scallops were fresh, and the pork was tasty. I especially loved the wide cariety of appetizers. If you live in Western Mass, and are looking for a nice meal, this is the place.

A really delicious meal— can’t complain at all. Everything was cooked perfectly and really tasty. The service was superb. Definitely will return next time I’m in South Hadley, such a nice dinner.
