Very cool to just watch, if your not familiar with the auction process feel free to ask questions at the payment window. The drop off pick up is well run and convenient.
Everything is well run!
Great time there! You can even bring your dog in as long as she's not barking at the animals.

Some of the animals were apparently sick and or emaciated and still sold. There was no food or water in any holding pens. There were many bottle babies(calves, lambs and kids) and all that I looked over seemed hungry and a few had scours. Buyer beware.
Staff is helpful and nice.

This past Saturday was my first time selling an animal at the market. The check in was easy, though there were no directions posted.
The only issues I had were the lack of information on the animals being auctioned. We had a Dorper lamb up for auction, but upon check in, the people at check in asked us no questions about our animal. The animals shown during the auction had little to no information given about them. The sheep, for instance, were not even distinguished between hair or wool. This could all be cleared up with a more thorough check in process. Many times the auctioneer had to look down and try to distinguish whether he was looking at a male of female animal.
Second, they allowed a small boy (I can only assume he was the grandson on the auction owners) into the auction pit where he relentlessly beat the animals with a rod which terrified and confused the animals. This made it difficult to get a good look at the animals being auctioned.
Finally, know that the commission fee is around 7%. It was not clearly defined.
