This has to be the best store of all time. The absolute greatness of good food choices and friendly people can really open your eyes in the heart of Dorchester. Sometimes life can be hard but with American Provisions I felt welcome.

And the drinks are something even better to look at!

I went here for lunch today because it was raining and it was the only place that I saw close by to get food. I got a Turkey sandwich. Take a look at the cheese slice that was on one side of my sandwich. Miniature! I took 2 bites, didn't taste any cheese, so I went looking for it. The pics don't really show how small it was. Put together, the sandwich looks ok. Pull it apart and It's a Lettuce Sandwich with a little turkey and a quarter piece of cheese. The sandwich was $14.98! No bag of chips, no pickle, JUST the Lettuce Sandwich. I was in a bind today. This isn't a place that I would frequent if I lived in the Neighborhood. 3 Stars for prompt service and friendly Staff. The sandwich tasted very blah.

Great place to pickup breakfast or lunch. I would highly recommend their Breakfast Burrito, Italian sandwich, Chicken Caesar wrap. This is one of those places when you go in for the sandwich and then you leave with a couple other small things because everything looks so good.

So, for a limited menu why is there a cutoff for breakfast? Avocado toast, not after 11 am!!! I asked if they had run out, "No but that's only for breakfast" I was told. Makes zero sense. You don't want my money? We actually made a special trip just for that. Needless to say my Wife was more than disappointed so we left. And I would have gotten a LUNCH sandwich for me but not when she's pissed and told me LETS GO. Bummer.

Not your typical wedding cake vendor, but AP should be! We’ve gone to AP for sandwiches and wine since 2018. We happened to try one of their cakes for a friend’s birthday, and it was the best cake I had ever had. Though they aren’t specifically a wedding cake place, they were willing to make us a small wedding cake and cupcakes to match. We came up with some creative flavors (corn cake with peaches and cream frosting and vanilla cake with lemon and raspberry) and it was INCREDIBLE. Kenny and Kara were so easy to work with and very responsive. The cake and cupcakes were so pretty and the best part is it tasted incredible. It was a really hot day, but the cake was not too sweet or overpowering. It was a delight to eat even on a hot day - I kept eating it even after our tasting. Best cake around!

The menu said “honey mustard” however, the mustard on the “farm house” sandwich was quite spicy and ruined the sandwich. Was very disappointed. Staff could not have been nicer though.
