This is a small family run store. The linguica and chouriço is made fresh daily. If you want the best in Fall River, head to Michaels

My family are the former owners of Amarals Linguica in New Bedford. I have been eating Amarals since I was born. In fact I always said my dad used to bottle feed me the stuff because it's in my blood lol. I could eat Linguica every day with everything. After Amarals was sold a few years ago I noticed the product was not the same. The new ownership changed a number of qualities Amarals once had. So much so that I've had to find a new Linguica to fill my fridge. Michael's is the one for me. I really enjoy the flavor of their regular Linguica, the turkey Linguica and the Cacoila. I worked many years for my Dad at Amarals so I know what it takes to make a good Portuguese Sausage. Michael's is definitely a great product. Thank you

I grew up in FR and go on what my wife & I call our to FR food runs. Michaels is "always" a stop. They make their own Portuguese marinade that's available to buy.
The Portuguese meats are fresh and marinated as only the Portuguese can. Fresh sweet bread. Portuguese rolls, muffins and spices. Well worth the trip.

Michaels is the best place to go for Portuguese food. The people that own it and the people that work there are wonderful. I go in there all the time I live in Middleboro and I drive to Fall River ticket master my blade meat and marinated chicken from them. I will not eat that from any other place believe me I've tried them and nothing compares to Michael's . From the minute you walk in the door to the minute you walk out the door everybody in that place is respectful they know their customers by name they are sweet they ask about your families your grandchildren and when you walk out of there you're smiling and happy. I don't know what I would do if I could not get to Michael's to get my meat I owed a 50 lb of chicken at a time when I go in there because my family won't eat anything else my two-year-old granddaughter refuses to eat plain chicken she has to eat Michael's marinated chicken breasts that's no joke. It's worth the drive of 45 minutes to an hour for me to get there to get their food . If you're in the Fall River area and you have some place to cook and store their food if you're from somewhere else Michael's is worth it go there check it out buy some of their food you will not eat anybody else's after you eat theirs. Once you go Michaels you don't go back LOL.

Everyone is friendly and the service is awesome!!! The meats are fresh and worth every penny!! I recently went to a supermarket and when I got to the register the cashier told me I could only get 2 packages of meat....not her fault by any means, but I have a large family and how do I tell them that only have of them can eat Here at Michaels no one told me I couldn’t order the amount I needed to feed my family. This is my new and only place I will get my meats from now on even after COVID-19 goes away!
