We had a Christmas party here, and it was a breeze to book, staff was nice, prices were very fair for the open bar, the music proved the room we got, no one in our group was a fan of the cold pizza under a heat lamp, for that reason I might recommend another location, not much parking in the area, luckily we Uber’s from a near by hotel, small intimidate venue which was nice. Might come for a concert would recommend for the live music.

The Bellwether has to be one of the coolest venues I have been to in DTLA. It is pretty big with several sections like an upstairs balcony for a better view of the musicians performing.

I was really happy to be able to come here for the first time and to see Mates Fest no less. It felt amazing getting to see so many of my favorite musicians perform in one place.

Even though the parking situation was a huge drag (there was not any free parking in the area, you have to either pay to park somewhere or park really far) the venue itself totally made up for it. Many of the workers seemed very inviting and were so friendly to us and everyone that was there.

The stage area was comprised of a bottom floor and a top floor with a balcony. I didn’t get the chance to go up there but I imagine the view was a lot better albeit further away from the stage. The view from the bottom can be a little rough since the stage isn’t super elevated off the ground. If someone taller than you is standing in front of you, good luck.

One thing that also really stood out to me was the lighting and the presentation of the musicians. It was honestly really cool and made the shows a lot better. In addition to this, the sound and everything was on point. A stellar night all around!

Spacious venue and plenty of parking spaces surrounding the area. Chances there will be event parking lots by the hotel across the venue so you can always pass by and check. Security handled the line well so it did not take long to get in.

Some music venues can be really challenging to maneuver while disabled, but the bellweather was amazing. They were welcoming from the very first point outside, and got us right to their disability liaison, who helped us get to the ADA seating area. He also checked in on us a few times and escorted us back downstairs when the show was over. The ADA seating was right up on the side of the stage, so we didn't have to sacrifice our view for ADA accommodations like many venues. Additionally, the shows were incredible, the lighting and atmosphere were awesome, and the bartenders were super friendly. Tanerèlle and VITA were ah-mayzing! We'll definitely be back soon!

Such a great venue! Intimate, standing room with a little seating upstairs, and it might be one of my favorite spots in LA to see anyone.

That said, parking is less than ideal, and even if you park in a lot in Downtown nearby, it’s a $10 Lyft/Uber to get to/from the venue.

Great spot. Bars are convenient. Great views. I was on the balcony.

Being on the balcony was especially cool, because, when that building was Prince's club, Glam Slam, he used to close off the balcony for him and his entourage. We could look up and see him.

Fun night. I paid for premium parking. That was probably unnecessary, but it could be different for different acts.

Saw Royal Otis here last week and was pleasantly surprised by this new wonderful, intimate venue. It has an open balcony so you can go between the floor and upper level. I loved that the seperate sections weren’t ticketed like at many other venues … so you could go up and down as you please. it also had a little patio and cafe attached with TVs so you could hangout but keep an eye on the stage. The venue is right off the 110 freeway. Will definitely go back !

Nice venue in downtown LA. Saw Washed Out and was impressed with the sound quality even from the side stage balcony thanks to extra speakers pointing our direction. Pizza was good at the attached restaurant. Great crowd and an overall great experience.
