Protocol is sooo good! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful, and our food came out very quickly! I ordered the Smash burger, Caesar salad, crawfish chowder, and house made fries. Everything was so delicious, and I highly recommend to anyone who may be in town for college visits!

I loved this restaurant. I had dinner and dessert and everything was so delicious! The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere had a modern, cozy vibe. They also have an extensive bar with beautiful premium cocktails. I loved everything about my dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Their smash burger is tied for #1 burger in my books. We also had the escargot, liver mousse, and fries. Everything was incredibly delicious. We liked our drinks, too! Between the apps and the burgers we were too stuffed to try the dessert. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

Really nice looking restaurant that likely stands out in downtown Amherst. Service is friendly and helpful. The food was quite good if all a bit too large in portion size. Most everything was quite tasty but not overwhelming. Sharing dishes is definitely the way to go.

Imani and the owner (didn’t get his name) were so hospitable, warm and friendly. The food was incredible and I love their ale selection. And such a sexy vibe. The decor and even restrooms were elegant. I will definitely return here when I’m in Amherst. Highly recommend

Since hearing about the opening of protocol, this has been on my list to try. My sisters and I went out for dinner and it did not disappoint! We decided to share a few of the small plates and everything was delicious from drinks to dessert. We had the roasted carrot hummus, zucchini fritters, bruschetta and butter chicken beignets. We each got a drink and were so impressed by the presentation and quality of everything. We then split the tres leches and olive oil cake. Both were delicious and tasted so fresh. We left already planning out our next visit to try more of the plates. Highly recommend checking this place out, if I lived closer this would definitely be a staple restaurant. Recommend the butter chicken beignets and zucchini fritters, the pictures don’t do the food justice but everything was 5/5 for us!!

This is the best food I have tasted in a very long time. Definitely, the best place to eat in Western MA. This is one Vegan dish and one Lamb dish (the best) and it is absolutely amazing! Try it yourself and you’ll see.

Super inspired cocktails and mocktails with interesting and delicious flavors! We didn't hit a single dud out of 7 ordered. The appetizers were flavorful and well seasoned, and the mains were approachable and comfortable. Overall a great mid-casual cocktail bar. Great for dinner with friends or a date. The menu isn't very big, but there's something for everyone, and it appears to be very seasonal. Go for the cocktails if nothing else and be brave when choosing-- you won't regret it!
