The small CSA share gives us more produce than two people can eat. This is year three for us. The vegetables are beautiful and long-lived - we can use the same bag of mixed salad greens for weeks. We bestow veggies on our friends and still have more than enough for ourselves. Cara and Michael are knowledgeable about their vegetables, and provide recipes every week to accompany the share. Cara is great with home garden advice as well, and her fresh and dried flower arrangements are gorgeous. I got a garlic braid that I almost hated to use because it was so pretty (came with dried flowers intertwined)

I bought the most gorgeous produce I've seen in a very long time from Free Living Farm today at my local farmer's market. I asked them about how their practices compare to "organic" farming. They told me they go beyond organic standards in their farming. Apparently, it's difficult for small farms to do all the paperwork and bureaucratic work for "organic" labelling. I trust this farm and am so happy I found them.

The absolute best produce! They offer such an impressive variety. Everything is delicious and lasts so much longer than store bought. Cara and Michael are friendly, helpful, and super knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing them again at the Sturbridge farmers market.
