This is an amazing places to share with your family. Everyone likes apples!! It’s not a big farm, but they have lot of apple’s trees on different kinds. They have red, green and yellow apples. There is a store in the front where you can find different apple products. Finally, if you like dogs, they have a beautiful one that likes to play with people.

We went this morning and were the only ones there, aside from staff. We were greeted and charged $35 for a small bag of average tasting apples. We had our one year old with us, and thus brought her stroller. Passive jokes about us stealing apples with the stroller, then staff trying to convince us that the stroller wouldn’t make it through the orchard (I’ve been using it all summer knowing that it would, and it did). They weren’t rude but they weren’t exactly kind either. Three rows of apples to pick from. I’ll probably go back to Acushnet for my family fall festivities moving forward.

This is the second year we’ve been to Dartmouth Orchards. This year the drought has thrown a monkey wrench into family “pick your own” apple picking. Although we weren’t able to pick our own peck this afternoon the owner was very kind and let us stroll up and down the rows of trees. Our son was happy to run up and down and point out the apples for the farmers to pick while we had a hearty selection to choose from at the roadside stand. Surprise not to pick our own this year but an idyllic fall afternoon anyway! Thanks for allowing us to run a little. The apples are just as sweet as we remember!

Happened to go there today Monday just to pick a bag. Being my first time there I didn’t realize picking is on the weekend. I want to thank the owner for graciously allowing us to pick our bag regardless. He even showed us the trees to pick our choice and told us to walk the orchard and sit a while. I want to thank you for your kindness.

We came here on a Friday as a group of friends not knowing that the apple orchard was only PYO on the weekend, which was fine. Staff told us we were able to walk around as we had toddlers with us. Everywhere our toddlers went, staff came running towards us saying they couldn't walk in a certain area or do this/do that. Mind you, we weren't doing anything wrong nor were the kids but we were walking around as we got told we could. One staff member in particular kept walking behind us as to herd us in a certain direction and wasn't letting our toddlers be toddlers. I left and after I left she called my toddler feral and said not to worry that she has a feral daughter too. My daughter did not do anything wrong nor was she acting 'feral.' You do not call someone else's 2 year old feral.
I bought a basket of apples because she dropped one and the staff was being uncomfortably rude as it was. I will never be going back to this orchard as it doesn't seem like the staff enjoys kids being kids.

The staff and owner were absolutely the best. Very friendly and helpful. The apples were plentiful and made for delicious applesauce. Will definitely bring the family back.

Worst place to go Apple picking!!! Staff is rude, the lady yelled at us and kicked us out for climbing the tree where there’s no signs saying we can’t! Instead telling us not to climb the tree, she came yelling and telling everyone in the group of 11 of us to leave while she escorted us to the entrance pushing and taking pictures of some of us!
