Ridiculous that they are measuring the size of their packages they accept for UPS now. Just don’t operate as a UPS access point if you’re going to be picky about what people can drop off.

I can deal with the super high prices for the convenience, but their product is rotten. I’ve gotten at least a dozen products that were well expired or rotten once you open the container. If you don’t believe me, to check all of their cherry or cocktail tomatoes. So much potential here - just very fewer products that are actually fresh! I go once every 3 months to see if it has changed, but still the same after 5+ years

Terrible quality and outrageous prices. I bought mushrooms and pork chops and both started to go bad the day after I bought them. That pork chops smelled bad and the mushrooms were slimy. Literally go anywhere else. Whole Foods has way better quality at smaller prices. For example, Foodie’s only garlic powder costs $10.39 which is ridiculous. At Whole Foods it costs $2.99. At Trader Joe’s it cost $2. The salmon here is terrible quality and $20/lb which is rediculous. Both TJ and WF have it for $11-$13/lb. Beef chuck is $6/lb at WF but $10/lb at Foodies. Also they had no cashiers, only self checkout

Quality of the prepared food has gone way down. Very expensive. Bought a chicken kabob. So dried out had to throw it away. Prices are ridiculous throughout the store.

They claim to have higher quality items but on a quick walk through I saw many items that are exactly the same as Shaws or S&S but on average about 50% more expensive. It's even worse with fresh meats and deli items. What's the justification for the higher prices? It's certainly not being spent on customer service. I noticed that the management never responds to any of these reviews, good or bad. That means they don't care. They have enough customers in the neighborhood that are stuck and need a grocery store they can walk to.

Overpriced. Often out of stock. Prepared food is not good/fresh. Staff is 50% of the time working (vs. standing there/talking/filing nails), 40% of the time friendly, 15% of the time competent. No parking. UPS counter often has nobody there to help you get packages. Credit card machine regularly breaks and it is cash only. I've complained to their corporate office 3x over the years and never even received a response. They don't care about you. Whole Foods is a couple of blocks over - no reason to go to Foodies.

I am really surprised at all the negative reviews since I have always had a very positive experience at Foodies! Staff is friendly and helpful, the produce and deli always have great selections, and yes, while the prices may be a little higher than say Stop and Stop, the quality is always worth it! And they have great sales too. Try it and see for yourself!
