Amazing day kayaking. We had the best time. We saw sea lions seals otters puffins so many bald eagles cormorants humpback whales bubble feeding and watched a glacier calve. Paddling through ice toward the glacier was surreal. Seeing the glacier is one thing, paddling close to the glacier and hearing it
Move and crash is just amazing. Our guide Kat was so sweet and knowledgeable. She was just a delightful person to spend the day with. Our Lunch was so yummy. The homemade scones and granola bars were so delicious. I would love the recipe for both. I would say it was a top 5 day. We have traveled extensively and done some amazing things. This was so fun. So happy we were able to do this trip.

This is a great company, and you should definitely book a tour with them during your time here in Seward.
I booked the half day Resurrection Bay trip and it was very fun. Our guide, Kat, was very nice and friendly, and knew a lot. The other people we were with are also awesome.
I saw a lot of wildlife like bald eagles and otters. The scenery is also excellent. If you are prone to motion sickness, remember to take your medicine, because when we first took the kayaks out, I experienced a bit of motion sickness but I got used to it.
Check this place out!!

This has been the highlight of our trip to Alaska so far. We truly could not have asked for a more perfect morning - zero wind, sunny skies, glassy water. The scenery was of course breathtaking, being on the water while surrounded by towering mountains all around. We got to see some wildlife - sea otters, sea lions, seal, and bald eagle. Our guide Dustin was awesome. We learned so much from him about things ranging from facts about the local wildlife to native traditions and the different ways they honor and live with the land. His love and respect for Alaska and its history, people, and wildlife was palpable and contagious. Cannot recommend this tour enough and if you get Dustin as your guide you will not be disappointed!

This excursion was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip. The boat ride thru the fjords and seeing wild/sea life was amazing, but the kayak to the Glacier was magical. Experiencing the full senses of hearing the clinking of the ice fields, the ice rubbing on the kayak, the thunder of the calving and the gentle rippling following was unexpected. Our guide Lynea was awesome! She pointed out things along the way and was very informed. Eating lunch in the kayak in front of the Glacier will be a memory I will never forget! Thank you!!

We had a great time on the half day tour with Brandon! We saw tons of wildlife - seals, otters, bald eagles, jumping fish, & lots of other beautiful birds. Brandon told us neat facts about the area, glaciers, wildlife, & in general was fun to talk to. We were provided water proof pants, jackets, & bags. We paddled for about 1.5 hours, took a break for snacks & hot tea on a beautiful beach, then paddled back. The pace felt relaxed yet we made great time & covered a good distance, likely due in part to ideal weather conditions & calm waters. We could've stayed out for another few hours. We also appreciated KAW's commitment to giving 1% of their profits to support non profits doing environmental restoration projects. Would 100% recommend!!

What an awe inspiring adventure that truly immerses you in the heart of the Alaskan Glaciers. The boat ride out provided us with a spectacular display of humpback whales bubble netting in a pod and killer whales joining the fun at one point! My husband got a photo of the humpbacks and the killer whales in the same frame. Amazing. The Kayaking was lengthy, several hours of work to see and enjoy not only looking at but also listening to, this glacier. Truly incredible. I wish we had gone a bit closer to it but honestly, my arms are exhausted now and it’s not even been 5 hours since our trip so it’s probably a good thing I didn’t paddle any more than I did. Lots of great knowledgeable guides and met some wonderfully friendly people. It was incredibly foggy and overcast which made the water smoother to kayak but tougher to get good pictures. Thankfully it cleared up on the way back. Big shout out to Freddy for helping us old folk take in a forever memory!!
