I've driven by here a few times over the years, then finally stopped in. Fresh home made pickles were great, the meats look amazing. The store has a liquor store on one side and a hardware store on the other. My type of place 😄 It has an old-school feel to it. The meats look amazing, we got strip steak and sausages. I used to buy strip steaks here every week during football season. If they weren’t prime, they were equal quality.
I bought 2 strip steaks today that look nothing like what they used to offer (much less marble-ized and their price per pound was $4 less than 3 years ago.
Their selling poorer quality steaks now than a few years ago

A truly special place on the Earth. Combination Hardware Store with propane, bait and tackle, and U-Haul, amazing market with an unbelievable deli counter featuring the best steaks and chops you can imagine, and a liquor store for what you need when you're done with the day's honey-do lists and grilling.

Great location. Super friendly staff behind EVERY counter. Each store has hard to find items that you forgot you needed, and other items you didn't even know you needed! Truly a treasure.

Best butcher shop in the area. For what little you pay more than the grocery store, you get way way more in quality. Their meats are just incredible. I often buy the Hamburger here and am always impressed with it. Great store and friendly people.

An employee at a big orange box store recommended produce barn as I was searching for stainless steel screws. I found exactly what I was looking for and checked out the deli section. Great friendly service and an awesome food selection. The sandwich and pasta was delicious. Hope to stop in again if I'm ever in the area.

The “butcher” doesnt understand the difference between a cow and a pig. I called to inquire about pricing for plate ribs, or short ribs, which are both beef. The “butcher” started tell me about St. Louis ribs and baby back ribs, which are pork ribs. I’m glad I called before I wasted my time driving to a supposed butcher that does not understand the difference between a cow and a pig.

UPDATE 4/11/24: I'm giving this a new rating to 4(1/2) stars as it's unfair to have the deli ruin it for the rest of the place. I absolutely love the hardware store, they have nearly everything i need & the man who works there is super friendly and helpful. The liquor store is always good, that's a no-brainer.
BUT...
If I were rating the deli only, I'd give it a 3.... chicken salad, ham salad, etc have all went downhill in the past couple years, the steaks are meh... porterhouse was one giant marbled, gristly slab of ick.

Someone told me the Prduce Barn can do custom screen window repairs. I asked for 2 to be made. They did not quite fit. One was my fault. They re made them to a perfect fit and I was shocked it was a no extra charge. Jason and all the employees there are super helpful and friendly.
