We stopped in for some cold drinks and a pizza after biking the cape cod rail trail. This place is located right along the rail trail and is a convenient stop for drinks, snacks, pizza, or ice cream. The pizza is one of the best we’ve had on the cape. The prices are good - $12 for a small cheese pizza, which was perfect for us. Ice cream is cash only. Can use a card for things inside.

Pleasant Lake General Store, Harwich Ma.
Everything you would expect and more.
Pizza actually it's "Shark Pizza", wraps, drinks, snacks, "Gilfords Ice Cream" and even T-Shirts. I am sure there is much more than what I've listed. They are located right near the CCRT and there are a couple picnic tables right next to the trail.
It's a convenient place right off the trail and the help was nice.

My goodness. First of all, service was fantastic! Staff was very friendly. The pizzas were delicious! Loved the uniqueness of the place and pizza names. Also, it was very busy, but we were so surprised how quickly they had our pizzas ready. When we come back to the cape, we’ll definitely come back here.

Perfect location along the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Just park your bike and head in to order your pizza. The pizza was great. Ice cream was OK. There are tables/seats outside along the trail to enjoy your pizzas

We heard about Pizza Shark a while ago on TikTok and finally got to visit since we were on the cape!

It definitely lived up to the hype with friendly service, a warm and quant atmosphere, and amazing pizza.

I look forward to wearing my pizza shark t shirt in Toronto to remind me of all the pleasantries offered on Cape Cod šŸ™‚

Amazing pizza!!! Also I have to clarify, amazing gluten free pizza! The gluten free pizza crust is unique here, fluffy but is thick enough to be crunchy! My partner who is not gluten free tried a bite and said it was fantastic too. I highly recommend this place to my gluten sensitive friends! Their shark sauce which is a chili oil sauce was also so amazing on top of the pizza. It is somewhat spicy though if you’re sensitive to spice! My partner got the regular pizza with custom toppings and he highly recommends as a local pizza place in Chatham/Harwich if you’re in the mood for a bite!

January 18th @3:48 2025 called to make a pizza order, was left on hold for over 5 minutes. When reconnected with the girl who takes the order we simply asked why the hold was so long just out of curiosity and her rude response was ā€œI have a store full of customers, so I’m going to just let you order onlineā€ then hangs up. Wait what? Did she just hang up because we asked a simple question? So we call back and speak to the owner - Todd and we explain what just happened and he states that ā€œshe said she wasn’t rudeā€ oh really Todd? Well your girl is a liar. How about ā€œthank you so much for waiting on hold, what may I get you? Instead we got her stupid little attitude and then Mr. Todd says he stands behind is worker… well that’s just great Todd, that you customer service sucks and you’re worker needs to get a grip on her condescending, rude tone she speaks to people. We are locals and will no longer be ordering from this company.
They claim they were so ā€œshakenā€ after the fact. We didn’t speak two two people we o my spoke to one gentle man… Todd. So again the team member and the owner clearly have an issue with lying, we spoke to one girl and one gentleman… not three individuals. Amazing that there is no accountability here and everyone wants to just blame someone else. We are the customers we came to you for a service… we asked a simple question and got attitude for no reason and we were spoken to rudely by your female phone worker… and you respond with hope you keep your promise and don’t come back? Your response speaks volumes. And you didn’t get told off till you once again dismissed what we were telling you, interrupting us on the phone so again let’s be truthful here. Next time we will record the interaction and post it so people can hear the real truth and not what you respond with. Can’t even take responsibility for your workers horrible customer service and your own horrible customer service. So typical. You reap what you sow. Enjoy that.
