Sully Locker & Market - Sully, Iowa

Yea!! our hot dog order came in a few days ago from the Sully Meat Locker and Market, located in Sully, Iowa. Those dogs are insanely good, made of very high quality 100 % ground beef, and are (LARGE), as you can see from the photo. One each makes for a delicious and filling meal. The thing I like and I believe makes their meats a lot healthier and tasty is the fact their beef products are aged two weeks before butchering and they contain no preservatives, I think the aging is what makes a significant difference. Since it's only two of us here, I order two dogs per package and normally order 20 packages at a time. Pam makes chili cheese dogs, using Armour Chili with no beans, that's a meal that has to be experienced to be believed, no point in me even trying to describe.
I have gout so have to be very careful about eating any beef, for the most part beef is a huge a no no for me but so far I've had no issues eating those dogs. I'm not sure if it's because of the aging process and or the fact they contain no preservatives. I will be contacting the dietary dept. of the Mayo Clinic to learn more.
I can't say enough good about this meat market, their service is superb every time and prices fair and competitive, the meats they offer are off the charts tasty. We are so spoiled (pun intended) going forward I can't imagine ever purchasing our meats anywhere else.

Where to begin? Dropped off two lambs; one being 120lbs; one 85lbs; requested ground lamb along with brats in packages of six; picked up one flat weighing less than sixty pounds with zero ground meat; brought this to the staffs' attention, was asked "would you rather have ground lamb?" At this point the process is over, so whose lamb was he offering us?! Relayed that this could not possibly be our entire order, was told very loudly "I'm tired of you sheep people!" Mentioned other "sheep people" that apparently had an issue as well, stated they would no longer be processing for "sheep people" ..Classy..(Partially our fault for utilizing their "services" as a friend recently learned they'd literally lost one sheep) Also no itemized receipt AND we were told by the Mother that WE were being rude to her son while he was the person yelling..This review is also being posted to Iowa Sheep and Goats; I'd hate for further "Sheep People" or anyone for that matter to be cheated/treated in this manner..
EDIT: Sooo, in response to your reply; there was no one in attendance stating I'M SICK OF YOU SHEEP PEOPLE? There was no one offering ground lamb AFTER ours were processed? There was no Mother defending her son in regards to arguing with a paying customer? How about an itemized receipt? Yes, you're correct, I'm lying about all of the above as if I have nothing better to do..Furthermore, several PAST customers on the Iowa Sheep and Goats page have encountered similar issues; are you seeking only positive reviews? If so, do better and in return I will as well.. Until then, we'll be waiting on our missing meat and speaking to whomever is in charge because the people I encountered today were clearly bitter about prior disgruntled customers with just cause..

My fiancée went in to buy meat. He said it was amazing! I stayed outside with my 2 small dogs. As I was outside in the grassy area, there was a brown German shepherd dog mix who went after my dogs. He was not really aggressive but did let me know he was not happy with my dogs.
I called for him to go home, go away, and he did retreat. I then walked away calmly and sat on the chairs outside the store waiting for my fiancée. The dog again approached the table area. I took my dogs in my lap to protect them in case the dog decided to go after them. The owner next door saw the dog and called him home. Thankfully, nothing happened. My dogs were both on leashes. Just wanted you to know that this happened so you can be aware of the situation.

Sully Meat Market is the most amazing Locker you can possibly go to. I love it the owners are absolutely amazing they're loving caring couples with a great family I would highly highly recommend who Sully Locker. If you want good service friendly service and outstanding meet go to the Sully Locker. Jared and Stacy are the most amazing people you will ever meet you'll have a friend for life. I rate them at a 10 plus you can't go wrong.

Meat is wonderful.
Did not appreciate the failure of the owners to make mask wearing mandatory. Owners were not wearing masks either. Thus the 3, not 5 stars.

This is the 2nd half of beef I have had prossesed their and am very pleased with the communication, customer service and willingness to have it prossesed per my needs and quality of beef I have received.
