I stopped on with a large group, and we all had a lovely time. The bartender working that night, Tiff, deserves 10/5 stars, because we easily quadrupled the expected traffic for the night. She never stopped, but always smiled, and was very welcoming.
The beer and food selection was fairly limited at the time, but I expect that’s just bad timing on our part. Liquor selection was really cool. Space was clean and welcoming, and (as said above) service was great.
Definitely worth the stop.

Love this place! They have a tremendous selection of beers, especially when you consider they are located in a town of about 450 people. They also have a genuine midwestern friendliness about them. We had a great time talking with the bartender (who is a homebrewer) and the head brewer. They weren't too busy when we were there, but they were resting up from a very successful Oktoberfest the previous weekend, which also meant that they were out of some of their beers. Their English Bitter and Maple Bacon Stout were my favorites, but I can say there wasn't a bad beer in the dozen we sampled.

I drove into central Iowa farmland to find this brewery. "Farmhand" this was a very enjoyable drive. Exactly what I was wanting. The ease of seeing rolling hills and more green then cement.The brewery was 3 of 4 flight glasses ""Pretty dam good"" plus I bought mixed pint 4 pack canned as I was watching a bet on college football game. Everyone I spoke with was chill . I was there couple hours plus which turned out to be a cool experience. Hey!! 100 mile RT to sample craft beer and conversation. This was a future repeat trip. Cheers

Currently serving local drafts, this up and comer is definitely a must go place to check out. It’s great for groups of all sizes and they even have some games on hand to add to the fun.
