I’ve been here a few times. It’s a fun couple of hours for a fall afternoon. There is apple picking, pumpkin picking and the food store. There are baked goods and lots of drag items in the store. Plenty of free parking in multiple lots.

My favorite place to go once fall strikes or earlier… since September 1 isn’t fall yet technically!
The apple cider is by far my favorite out of all the other CT orchards and their whole donuts are the best. They make them fresh every day. There’s also some great options in their market like apple bread and their pies. I also love to get a large jar of honey each year.

Great place to take kids as well for apple picking up and the pumpkin patch!

This is the family orchard you've been looking for. Affordable, no lines, amazing market, free parking, and wonderful decorations. Whether it be a stroll through the trees or picking out a pumpkin, this place has it all. It's very interactive for kids and I would buy one of everything in the market if I could. The peanut butter cups are amazing and the pies will knock your socks off. This whole property is also very well maintained by the staff.

An amazing orchard. I had such a nice time here picking out my own apples. A few apples are in season now, some are still not ready. Beautiful field. Parking available on site . They have a great store to buy all sorts of goodies as well. Definitely recommend.

We have been coming to Blue Orchards for the last five years, and we always have a great time.
This year we had a guest that has mobility problems, but she wanted to experience apple picking for the first time.

Chris, the manager of the orchard, went above and beyond, helping us by organizing a golf cart and a driver.
Tom drove us around and was very patient and kind, explaining all about the orchard and apples.

Their store has amazing baked goods, jellies, honey, etc.

Definitely a great place to spend a couple of hours in the fall.

The BEST PIES! Great cider and tasty donuts. Fun place to get apples, pears etc. and many edible gifts.
I wish they were open longer than September through December.

If you haven't gone apple picking this Fall, try Blue Jay Orchards. It has several acres of various apples from Fuji, Macoun, Pink Lady, Jana Gold and many more. The Fall foliage on the outskirts of the orchard is mesmerizing. See pictures below. It is family friendly and has a pumpkin patch with different sizes of pumkins to choose from. There's also a Farm store which sells more apples, pies, cider donuts, apple cider and several treats. The weather is gorgeous, don't miss out!!!
