I purchased a choose-your-own CSA from Hein Farm back in January, and throughout spring and summer this year I visited the farm each weekend (they’re open in the fall/early winter too, but I was so busy that time of year I couldn’t visit much so I’m not as familiar with their late-year offerings). I have been incredibly happy with my experiences at Hein Farm this year and am looking forward to purchasing another CSA for the coming year. Hein Farm is run by incredibly kind and passionate people (shoutout to Lisa!!), and it reflects clearly in the quality of the produce available, as well as the thoughtfully curated selection of local artisan goods available at their farm stand. Really good stuff available here and the farm store is always beautifully decorated, which made my weekend visits a treat. Recommend getting the eggs, cheese, butter and pickles here, they’re all fantastic. Visiting Hein Farm always made my weekends extra special and I’m looking forward to returning once the farm store opens again in springtime.

Quick stop to get some corn and mums. Jen was outside. So friendly. Farm was neat and tidy. Very authentic feel. Love the two trucks.

Absolutely love Hein Farm! The people are so friendly- the quality of fruits, veggies & snacks such as ice cream and pie are amazing. They have all sorts of plants & decor for inside and outside of your home. Last week I bought a pre potted plant and some jewelers (a metal ring with a bee on it). Definitely take a trip- you won’t regret it!

Well, I attempted to attend the “Farm Festival “ on Sunday, the 6th I think it was. No food truck; only some charred hotdogs, which no one, including me, wanted to eat!
Then on to the store, where I was picking out some items that I wanted to purchase. Then, SUDDENLY, when I went to get in line to make payment, a “conga line “ of st least 20 people were in front of me. Very funny. I have seen these sorts of stunts before, so I have every reason to believe it was deliberate! SO, thanks for the fun outing, Hein Farm. You really DO know how to make someone’s day! Kudos!

Super cute farm store. Got some goodies here and definitely want to come back in autumn and winter to see what they have in the different seasons.
