Visited on a field trip with school aged children. They did some taste testing, a low cost bag for each child, a wagon ride, and some time climbing onto a tractor. Kids liked it even though we went in the off season. They have a small store with cider and doughnuts.

My sister and I were in town from Florida and we visited Blue Hills last Sunday. We had a great time, the people were amazing, the orchard and store were very charming and everything we picked or bought was delicious. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it all, I will definitely carve out a few hours to return the next time I’m in town.

We love this orchard to pieces !!! The Henry family is great! All kinds of fresh fruit from August through the end of fall. Fantastic, inexpensive, low key, simple wagon rides on the weekends during the summer. Phenomenal view of the Blue Hills of Wallingford.

Check the hours before venturing. Worth the trip. Love it. Just wonderful fruit and pies you can pick or buy just a few. Baked off a frozen pie which was way above average. Clean. Nice staff. Picnic tables, rest rooms, orchard rides. Go.

I never had any idea that this great orchard was right in my backyard. I really enjoyed it. The apples were very plentiful, and the area is beautiful. They also have a nice little store onsite for snacks, pies, and other items.

Extremely racist family owned business. They have only African American men picking the apples and have the white men and women driving tractors or working the store inside. Picked our own apples and on the way back saw about 5 African American men picking apples and doing the lawn work. After getting off the tractor me and my boyfriend (who is African American) decided we didn’t want to support their business and told them we didn’t want the apples. They said if you pick it you have to pay that there’s a difference between runline picking them and us. We had to go inside to pay with cash and a lady watched us the whole time then proceeded to go inside to make sure we paid. Very disappointing and very disrespectful of a business to show their racialism loud and clear.
