We ADORE Overgrown Home! We cant speak more highly about Anna and Nathan. We came into the shop three months ago with no plant knowledge, a bit worried that whatever we liked wouldn’t survive in our home (we’ve been notorious plant killers in the past). Nathan was extremely helpful in teaching us plant basics, helping us select plants that would survive in our home, and was nonjudgmental despite our many questions/concerns. Our plants were thriving so much we came back for more a few months later, and Anna was just as supportive, kind, and wonderful. The plants from the shop are amazing additions to our home and we couldn’t be more grateful for Overgrown Home!

I visited today and had such a wonderful experience! First all of the plants are so well taken care of. You can tell they take pride in caring for their plants as they’re all so healthy and happy. Second, Nathan, one of the owners, was so helpful answering my questions and even repotted two plants into planters for me there. Turns out one of them isn’t the right size for the space so I’ll be back very soon to get another one! Very happy to have found this gem in the neighborhood.

I initially called and paid a visit to Overgrown Home because of the reviews, I am on a mission to learn how to take care of my plants (accidentally killed one of my very first plants). I had read all the positive feedback and figured I would give this establishment a try (especially it being a bit of a drive for me) I am all for making a drive that is worth my time. The phone conversation was a completely different vibe than the physically interaction I had, I walked in feeling so happy because of how beautiful all the plants are, the space felt welcoming at first.

when I started conversing with whom I am guessing is the owner it felt very rushed and sort of short. From her facial expressions from the phone ringing to me asking questions, it almost felt like I just needed to hurry up and get out. Perhaps it was an off day, maybe the vibes were off I am unsure. This is the experience I had, and I am feeling disappointed, I will only speak for myself as it seems there are A LOT of satisfied customers and that’s Great! I just wish it felt more welcoming for my first time visiting.

Best plant store in the Denver area!
The shop may be on the smaller side, but is absolutely FULL of beautiful and rare plants. Both of the employees I've dealt with have been wonderful and were happy to answer my questions. Their online menu is great, and they always have cool stuff in the back. Will absolutely be returning to Overgrown Home!

The person there tonight was so so kind to a novice house plant owner such as myself and had so much knowledge about everything I asked! I couldn’t believe it! So many great recommendations on what plants would work well together from a light and watering perspective, and gave us tons of great info on some cactus varieties we were looking at.

Bonus.. you can apparently send them pictures of your plants and they can give advice on what may be going wrong. I just love that! We have been here a couple times, they always have such great variety, a ton of knowledge and the nicest staff. Support this small business, it’s a gem and we are lucky to have it in our neighborhood.

THE BEST LOCAL SHOP FOR RARE PLANTS RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
This shop is absolutely amazing!
I've been buying plants from Anna and Nate for a few months now and I've been nothing short of ecstatic with the plants I've received! They take the time to make sure you're getting your plant at it's BEST. They even offer root inspections before you bring them home. As the first customer in their brick and mortar let me just say WOW! I think I actually shed a tear or two. You can really tell they poured their hearts and souls into this place. The shop is so beautifully laid out with their gorgeous home decor and plants sprinkled throughout 😍 Congratulations guys you really knocked it out of the park and I'm so excited to watch you grow!!!
