This farm produces fantastic produce. From a gorgeous location, at 6,200 feet nestled against a remote mountainside several dirt roads to the south of Red Feather Lakes road, Farmer Chris and her husband Mark have managed to figure out how to make organic Colorado mountain farming work. Their passion for farming and their knowledge of the subject are amazing. If you ever get the opportunity to eat their produce or visit the farm/homestead, grab it.

I cannot say enough good things about Gordon Creek Farm and Farmer Chris! I have take two of her farm classes and they were wonderful. It’s wonderful to get tips on how to grow in the trickier mountain environment and Chris is so generous with her experience.

The weekly fresh produce this summer was amazing and it will be missed this winter. The garlic growing session at the farm was very informative and helpful for growing many other things. Farmer Chris makes her self available for answering questions year round. Thank you, I feel like gardening success is now a possibility for me.

This class was amazing; it filled in the gaps of information that can only be gained by learning something hands-on. Chris is an endless resource of experience and knowledge. Oh, and you get to take home fresh veggies, some of which I even pulled from the ground myself. How satisfying is that?
