We worked with JC's to process the Halibut and Salmon that we caught while on a recent fishing charter in Juneau (Captain Alan Corbett). I spoke with Jared prior to our trip and he took the time to explain everything to me (processing, packaging, storage, airport delivery, etc.). They keep your fish frozen and deliver it to you at the airport right before you check in on your flight. Cassandra was right on time at 4am to drop off our fish off at the airport. Great service and nicely packaged, everything made it home completely frozen after over 12 hours of travel!!

September 10, 2024 went Halibut fishing in Juneau. Our captain recommended JC Processing for our catch. Our halibut arrived at our front door when we got home. Filleted, frozen and fresh. Fantastic service and I prepared it the day it arrived and it was delicious. Top Notch Service!

We processed our fish with JC processing and couldn’t be happier! Cassandra took care of everything right up until we checked into our flight. She even called as we were boarding and said that there was a box forgotten and she would air freight it to us. Complete trust and exceptional service! We will see you again next year.

Edit: this was a bucket list item for me. I caught the biggeat fish on the boat that day but was sent a much smaller fish. They did send a fish. Not my fish. Wjen it is a bucket list item you only get to do 1x in your life getting the same fish ypu caught means something. No paperwork either so no idea how the charges brokedown. Fish arrived partially frozen. The fish they sent was much smaller and lacking the distinguishing marks the deckhand cut into it. The pieces dont even match up with each other. I feel like they scammed me all around...

I used JC Processing to process fish I caught in Juneau area waters in summer 2024. Jared and Casandra provided fantastic service, including picking up the fish at the marina dock, processing, vacuum packing, freezing, and storing until shipment. I have never had such great service from a processor. Super nice people who freely shared their knowledge about Juneau and fishing hotspots. Friendly, responsive, outstanding service. 5 stars aren't enough.

Outstanding small local family business! They beautifully cut the fish, perfectly vacuum-seal it for a long lasting freeze, and clearly mark all packaging by species. In addition to being well organized, JC Processing is SO easy to communicate with. They know their stuff!! We are lucky to have them in our town. HIGHLY recommend this high quality processor!!
