Great atmosphere to try some local spirits! We always like to sample local spirits wherever we go so this was a must try. The distillery was really cool and was set up very comfortably - the perfect spot for socializing over some drinks. They had a nice select of cocktails that were mixed with the variety of spirits they produce. I’m a sucker for sweet so I gave their Dragonfruit Slushy a try, which was made with their gin. It was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone ordered something different and they all really enjoyed what they ordered as well. We posted up next to the window in some comfy chairs but there really isn’t a bad spot to hang out here. We will certainly be back!

I tried the gin on its own first. The gin is renowned for being made with locally sourced spruce tips, Devil’s Club, Labrador Tea, and rhubarb.

I then started with one of their cocktails on draft - the classic G&T which came in a delightful geometric glass. My mother had their zero-proof tomato cocktail which she adored.

My second cocktail was the cucumber ? gin cocktail. It was very delicate and soothing. We spent a decent amount of time relaxing in the distillery and sipping on our drinks.

I made sure to buy a bottle of the gin to take home with me to enjoy.

Loved the vibe at this distillery where you can have some unique cocktails and try out their whiskey and Gin made in Juneau.

I tried the rhubarb gin and tonic and also tasted the Amalga Single Malt

Loved the cocktails we had and we bought multiple bottles of the single malt and Gin bottles to take back to DC.

I regret not buying more of the Single Malt as I would like to give it as a gift but it’s unavailable to buy online and shipping isn’t available nationwide. Only pickup. That’s a shame as this single malt is great and would have been nice to buy it online and shipped to DC.

Overall anyone visiting Juneau should stop by Amalga and have some cocktails.

A $5 gun and tonic?! Are you serious. Very nice atmosphere, lovely bartenders, tasty and cheap cocktails! A must stop after a Deckhand Dave's Taco, maybe the best fish taco I've ever had.

Omg the gin here is awesome. The staff is great each drink is very thoughtful and tasty. Highly recommend as a must stop when in Juneau. AK has a two drink limit… WI girl very sad. But I got some to enjoy when I get home. Basil gimlet and rhubarb g&t hands down my favorite on this menu.

Popped in on a rainy day. Just a short distance from the cruise ships and a welcome distance from the crowds, tshirt and jewelry shops. Great vibe…I wish we had more time to linger. Picked up a 200ML of Juneauper Gin - the perfect size for an overstuffed suitcase. Looking forward to enjoying back home with friends! Go straight here when in port. This is uniquely Juneau - that’s why you’re cruising.

Very cool distillery in Juneau, Alaska. Their whiskey is great and they have great branding. Fantastic space with the whiskey stills visible/out in the open. I also loved their merchandise and locally made mugs/cups.

If you're looking for a place to chill and just take in a relaxing vibe, this is its! The decor, atmosphere and prime corner location is ideal to drink their Gin and people watch! While
Most gins cause me to blackout (), their gin was absolutely delicious and memorable!

So much so, we bought a flask for home consumption! This place is a must to stop by and have a chillaxing drink and unwind!
You won't regret it
