Every single employee that works at this arc thrift store on this day we're just plain rude !
My husband asked for assistance at the front counter for their pricey items and no one showed up. I tried on jeans and the girl said nothing and opened it. Like any human interaction There was a man dress in all black walking around the store as if he was security and honestly looked creepy, said no excuse me and hello I'm assuming he worked there. He was right behind my dad and said nothing and almost pushed him because that tall guy was all close to him ! Place would be cool but the people were just not it.

RUDE RUDE RUDE Employees!
This store needs employees who are kind to people, especially to the kids, and especially to those with disabilities.
I've been coming here for years, buying a few things every month. Every time I'm in the store, they play a message about kids staying with adults, and I'm totally ok with that. Today, I went to see a few things in the showcase and asked both of my kids to stay behind me (like 7 feet behind), one of them is a special need child. This employee didn't see me, but in a very rude tone of voice told them to stay with an adult. And when I turned around and said that I'm here, she just could care less.
I thought the ARC stores were there to help people with disabilities, etc... Just like their mission statement says.

Ultimately, people say this is one of the better stores in North Denver and I really, really struggle to believe this. For starters, the store is smaller than other arcs in the area, so space is limited. This leads the staff to choose between selecting what goes out, or cramming stuff onto the racks, making you either struggle to examine something, or you outright miss it. I get that sometimes at the thrift store there is some digging around as part of the hunt, but it needs to still be accessible.

My other problem with this store is the riff raff. For some reason this store seems to attract nutcases and wierdos, and the staff do nothing to enforce policies that corporate sets in place. For example, I saw a man in there wearing a bulletproof "SECURITY" vest with three pitbulls who must have thought he was the coolest cat in the house but looked like a complete tool. Never seen a person who chooses to use a service animal have three of them (not like these were marked as such to begin with, lol). Other times I've heard people screaming or arguing, people bringing in personal pets, etc. The place is very chaotic and not pleasant to shop in, and staff seem to have taken a pacifist/non-confrontational stance on it. Kick people out of the store if they are being obnoxious. I shouldn't have to deal with people's pets in a store.

Prices: This is a thrift store. I found the prices to be roughly the same as any other arc. Sometimes they price things over what they should be, most of the time, not so much. I think they have a standard set of guidelines and have to process so much they fail to take in condition.

Cashiering: Hire some staff for your busy days. Seriously, I hate standing in line because one staff member is tending the Point of Sale terminals.

Worst Areas: Mens clothing. Lack of selection and floorspace. Gets picked through heavily. Tech: Not much of it, lack of floorspace, cramped.

Best areas: Childrens/Toys. Lots of selection given store size. Book section is diverse and interesting, prices good.

Only spent 1 minute in the store, as there was an unbelievable smell permeating the front entrance area. I couldn’t escape it going to different areas of the store. Stayed just long enough to look at the overpriced art. The store seems pretty big, with a lot of clothing selection, but the smell was just awful. Clear your store my goodness

Been to much better but still has some finds. Place is on the small side compared to other Arcs. They are clean and laid out easily and it's a snap to navigate, but lacks the room for a big selection of merchandise. Staff is very friendly but not quite enough of them to go around. The donations area in front of the store makes it look much tackler on the outside than it needs to.

As an avid thrifter, I will never come here again. We all know prices went up everywhere. Shirts that used to be $1.99 are now $3.99 at most thrift stores. However this store in particular took it to a whole new level. Here are some fine examples.
Juicy Couture boots that I already once purchased brand new from Ross for $14, a whopping $18.99 at your local Arc, extreme wear on them too!

Sweatpants with a brown stain on the butt, $14.99

Basic Stranger Things T shirt that sold $13 brand new for $7.99.

& I wish the Arc would stop treating Victorias Secret/PINK like it’s a luxury brand. Extremely faded, torn & beat up sweater for $8.99.

I usually shop at the Arc in Northglenn & the one in Thornton, both of those are much different with their price ranges. There is absolutely no reason any t shirt (THAT YOU GOT FOR FREE) should be priced any higher than $5. Used beanies were priced at $6. That’s insanity. Housewares were mostly priced okay. Most of the workers were kind except the older lady with black hair that kept pushing through customers without saying excuse me because she was in a hurry putting items on shelves. Toy section was a disaster, I know that’s partially to blame on parents who let their kids destroy it but more than half of it was the stuffed animals I could tell employees placed on the ground in a tiny walkway. The shelves were jam packed already so I know they didn’t fall from there.

With all that being said, I’ll stick to the other Arc stores that aren’t trying to make a fortune on donated items.

The day staff is very rude and unfriendly if it weren't for the night staff who definitely made me smile and helped me out tremendously (with a hippocorn soft mushmellow) the night before my experience today I'd be giving this place less stars!!!
