Been patronizing Out West for over a year now. No complaints until recently and today I feel I need to share the fact that one staff member (female) has behaved in a manner I find quite unprofessional and even rather abusive.

In fact, her behavior this year motivated me to buy items I would have bought from Out West, (which is closer to my home) at Wilco which is four times further.
Today I was there to purchase a few fence panels and as I walked around the back saw a large black, used plastic pallet all alone. Last year they had some used pallets for free.

Inside a young man helped me purchase the fence panels and I asked about the black pallet. He didn't know but said he would find out.

He inquired of another staff member (female) at the next register. She is the person who has made me feel so uncomfortable there. She was very negative about the pallet potentially being free. My guy corrected her that this pallet had been sitting around for quite some time and was clearly not an inventory item.

He loaded my fence panels outside and added the black pallet (free of charge) to my truck bed.

He was awesome in the face of her argumentative behavior.

I did not want to write this review because I love this feed store and all their other staff members have been great, except for her.

I just moved to town and discovered this gem. Everyone was kind and welcoming, the store has a little of everything and the cat Loretta was full of personality and made my day! Not to mention the young man who loaded my hay went above and beyond to load exactly how I asked. I will gladly return. Big thanks from me and Rosie!
