Fantastic food made of hearty and healthy Vermont grown ingredients. The old restored barn dining area and the ambient warm lighting create a cozy atomosphere that invites you in. We went in November and ordered radish and turnip along with the bread rolls as a starter. The rolls were so well baked and a must as they are cheap and delicious. The radish and turnip appetizer was great especially if you enjoy raw vegetables as they were quite crunchy. For entrées we got the chicken dish which was cooked to perfection with a delicious gravy-like sauce. My only complaint was the portion was on the smaller side. It was probably only 8 oz. My partner got the buttercup squash vegetarian dish which was sweet and savory. All in all the food was excellent quality and the service was impressive. I would say the atomosphere, the service, and the farm to table nature of Philo Ridge Farm are the three main things going for it.

It was nice to visit this lovely local spot. I had a decent burger and smashed potatoes. The other sandwiches were tasty and a good value. The building and furnishings are all very tasteful and of good quality... Meats and other farm products are awesome and available to purchase. I just wish that they had beer on the menu.

My sister and I had a lovely night at Philo Ridge Farm. The service is exceptional, and you’ll be dining in probably the most picturesque outdoor seating areas in Vermont. Their menu features plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options that showcase incredible seasonal produce. Overall, the food is good — nothing particularly outstanding but still delicious farm to table fare. The onion and cabbage dishes we tried were my favorite. Next time, I’d skip the cheese board. The vibes are definitely fancy and almost a little up tight, which made me feel a bit out of place.

We live locally so to say we’re spoiled with some of the best farm to table experiences in the world is not an exaggeration!

This was our first time here. Many of our friends have told us ‘you HAVE to go to Philo Ridge Farm!’ We finally made it! We brought friends from out of town too!

The setting is just gorgeous and we happened to have a beautiful pink and purple sunset to start our evening.

The food was mouth wateringly good, plated beautifully, and the SERVICE was outstanding. I loved how the food is served to the table all together. No single person is ever waiting. Watching the team work together is like a symphony.

The whole night was magical. You might even make a friend (barn cat, Shar) in the parking lot as you leave.

Was able to attend a small party charcuterie tasting with 24 people, representatives from the bakery Backdoor Bread, Jasper Hill Farms (cheeses), Babettes Table (meats), House of Fermentology and Foam Brewers were all here and presented information about their products as well as the team from Philo Ridge Farm. It was a beautiful location, and an excellent setup, sharing bread with the people who were reaponsible for creating this food from the raw ingredients. The food was incredible and the thought of leaving hungry at a tasting of this type was gone half way through the first course. The staff here is incredible.and they are doing amazing things to show that sustainable farming is possible and beneficial. The location and atmosphere are relaxed and our group had a wonderful experience here, I would rate it 6 stars if I was able to and we will certainly be going back to wander the farm and better understand their operation. The shop carries fantastic local products from all sorts of producers. The inside and outside of the building are gorgeous and just have a great sense of history while being very up to date, clean and relaxed. I cannot recommend checking this place out enough.

A hidden gem of Vermont. Absolutely love what they're doing here. Farm to table is totally on point. Their menu looks delicious! Love the market and being able to walk the grounds. We can't wait to enjoy a dinner with our pup once the patio opens! We will be back soon!

This is my favorite place for fine dining in Vermont. So much on the menu is grown right on the farm. So it's fun to see the menu change with whatever is at the pinnacle of its harvest season. If the shishitos are on the menu, definitely want to prepare yourself for a taste and texture far superior to what you've had prior. Wine prices are incredibly reasonable and it's nice to have a locally made kombucha on hand for those not imbibing alcohol. Both times I've been the service has been precise yet intimate. The dining room seating is very cozy, the lighting was perfect, and the ambient noise from the dining room was very manageable for quiet conversation at our table. I hope to enjoy many more dinners here with friends and family.

A must stop!! It's sort of a cross between a farm store a 5 star restaurant and a state park. It has lots of seating and honesty the food was incredible. Nice staff and a great story behind the farm. Definitely get a wool blanket and some raw honeycomb.
