What a gift it is to have the stewards of Friends Farm in Lafayette. In such a short time, they have not only extended to the community around them with their heavenly produce but also with opportunities to learn. Learn about herbalism, authentic relations, fermentation, and the work that they do. You can even volunteer as well to get first hand experience!
Being good stewards of the land isn't just about the end products but informing others in how they can be, too. And that there is always more than one way to do so.

The produce this year has been so lovely between the assortment of herbs, gorgeous tomatoes, fairytale eggplants, garden huckleberries and many other goodies! With their assortment this definitely helps keep biodiverse healthy gut - happier body inside and out!

Consistently bountiful fresh produce, great variety. Wonderful farmers, kind and so hard working. I’m going for a full CSA share next year! Plus I love the classes they promote like veggie fermentation.

Friends Farm is where it’s at! I am a CSA member this year and the veggies are gorgeous. Our CSA share is elevating our eating experience at home in a wonderful way and helping us feel (and be) connected to our local economy and our local land. In addition to the beautiful veggies, the farm is a beautiful and scenic place to visit, Oliver and Sam are so welcoming and friendly, and they have a u-pick garden that I’ve really enjoyed taking my little one to. They also offer classes in herbalism and community skills and other topics that I’m very interested in. Big love for Friends Farm, may it thrive and be loved and cherished and supported by our community - it’s exactly what we need for a healthy now and a healthy future.

Oliver was always quick to fill my tiny orders. No matter if only one small container of cherry tomatoes or 1/3 lb of greens. He always had things ready for me to pick up and trusted that I’d pay. I’ll be buying produce from the farm next year and can’t wait to pop a sweet little tomato in my mouth while looking in the fridge for something else.

Great variety of freshly harvested veggies and herbs, some that you don’t see in stores, all locally and organically grown by friendly, hard-working, farmers. Doesn’t get better than this! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a CSA owner this summer and going to be next summer, too.

Came all the way from a small farm in Maine to check it out! Came for the biodynamic farm and stayed for the amazing community. I had the good fortune to enjoy a wonderful event on authentic communication hosted by the farm as well! Everyone please sign up for the CSA! I would if I could!!
