Having done business with Moreno Meats, I would not recommend having a beef butchered here, they run a shady business.
We bought 2 beef from a rancher, who brought them in to be processed, both approximately 900 lbs. live weight. This should come out to around 360 lbs. (40%) of packaged meat per animal. One beef we received 284 lbs., and that included 10 - 12 packages of bones. The second beef, we received only 171 lbs. of packaged meat (for a whole beef). Where did the rest go?
To give them some credit, the steaks are packaged nicely and look like good cuts. The hamburger, which we got very little, is too lean and I'd say most of the beef is that way. The roasts are cut like big cubes, no idea what kind of roasts they are, I've never seen a roast look like that. Their processing fees seem high also, especially since we were missing SO much meat. They would not consider any price reduction - we were ripped off and so was the rancher.

Buyer please be aware! We used this service for the 1st time only because the person who we bought the cow from sent them there to get processed and we should have checked their prices beforehand! They charge more to process beef than anywhere else around! They also trim almost every single piece of fat from the meat! Which works for other animals but not that well for beef! We paid almost 3.50 per pound for just the processing and then had to pay our beef supplier, which basically caused this roping cow to cost over 6.00 per pound! It's not angus!I will not be using this place again in the future and just wanted to let people know to call in advance and ck their prices! They charge extra fees for everything and I mean every little thing!we were charged a trash/utilities fee,hanging fee,upgraded bag fee which we weren't even given the option for, kill fee, which is normal but was higher then anywhere else I've used before, just please be aware of all these fees!

This is my first time to be here and I found this place with the help of my friend. They have wide variety of meat selections and the staff are very friendly and price is fair. I meet the owner of the ranch and the guys inside and I'm happy with the services. I highly recommend this meat ranch.

Purchased skulls online via instagram and payment sent via paypal. $300 then kept asking for more money for shipping etc. I sent an extra 25 to be fair. Seller kept asking for more money via cash app and other forms of payment and I have a business so I do everything through paypal to protect myself. I had purchased from him years ago successfully but not this time. Luckily I was able to prove it through paypal and I got my money back since items were never shipped. Was dealing with Alejandro.

It was today March 18/2021. I was called and ask if they work or Sale sheep or goat today they said yes. I was tell to the one who answer telephone I will be there by 3:30 are you Open till that time she said yes. Gust what I was drove One Hour and I get there by 3:20. She said Go back.Close. I said why I told that it okay if I be here by 3:30? No Good Answer from here it was rude they really threatened me I really run away from there it is scary people and scary place. I will never ever go or buy any meat to that place.
