Very much enjoyed working with Hoppy Chinchillas. We were able to adopt one of Hazel’s beautiful, sweet chins and our little girl is so sweet and was already used to being handled. I appreciated that Hazel was helpful, friendly, communicated clearly, and accommodating with our schedule. Our new chin is doing great and is seems very healthy (we had a bad previous experience with a large pet store) Would definitely adopt from Hoppy Chinchillas again!

We got our baby Mei-Mei from Hazel on Saturday. She is very nice and knowledgeable about the chinchillas. Call or text her before showing up to her address. Besides, it's rude to show up to people's places unannounced. Anyways, definitely recommend her. We are in love with our baby chinchilla.

Very responsive and all the chins were happy and curious when we checked them out. Easy to schedule a visit and Mrs. Hazel is a nice person to meet. Thank you for our gorgeous girls! Looks like some people think it’s a pet store, she is a breeder not a pet store! Breeder over store is better for the chins, trust me I’ve bought from both. The chins have their own living spaces and all look very happy. I held several and wanted them all!

Just picked up my baby Misty she's soo beautiful and Mrs Hazel is a beautiful person inside and out it was amazing meeting her. She is soo full of knowledge and a very nice person glad I had the chance to meet her and see all her chins I will be back for another ❤️ She takes great care of her fur babies 😀

Hazel is amazing. She is very well knowledgeable on the chinchillas. I got my chinchilla here and absolutely love him to pieces. Please call her and dont just show up. She is a breeder but she actually loves and cares for these fur babies. Highly recommended that you buy from her and not a pet store. She has happy healthy chinchillas and she feeds them healthy food and handles them daily so you can have your little baby socialized.

We got our white ebony baby in April and she is beautiful and perfectly healthy! On her website it states by appointment only and I called first. The chinchillas were not in dirty cages and she gives them good food and looked well taken care of in my opinion when I went in there and a lot are rescues none were outdoors everything air conditioning plus in the top of the line cages and some reviews I seen those people never been there to see themselves. But, for our experience it was a good one and I wouldn’t purchase a chinchilla from her if it was in horrible conditions she cares for them to let them have the rooms that’s what I seen so thank you for our little fur baby❤️

My wife and I drove three hours from Georgia to purchases two hoppy, healthy baby chinchillas and they're growing like weeds. I picked out two before even making an appointment, but Miss Hazel, the owner, nice enough to introduce us to a few others so I could make sure I was making the right decision. These pets require a lot of specialized care and can live up to 20 years in captivity, so don't make this commitment without doing your research.

Miss Hazel is very knowledgeable and I ask her any questions I have about these two via text, long after the sale. Now that's service. She even provided us with some starter supplies to make sure they settled in comfortably. We couldn't be happier with our new family members!

THIS IS NOT A PET STORE AS STATED ONLINE! ITS SOMEONES HOME. ITS DIRTY, STINKS and HER BED IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LIVING ROOM! She has over 200 chinchillas and they live outside in small cages with nowhere to hop!!! These babies are not being bred properly and probably with siblings or parents. These animals should be taken from them ! They have the nerve to sell for $300 - $350. If you know anything about chinchillas you know they need large cages, are very social, need a lot of attention and dust baths. They are fragile, have specific diets and don’t belong outside!!! I’m turning them into animal control!
