While skiing in Steamboat, this place came highly recommended by almost everyone I met. I wasn't too keen on spending money at a restaurant to have to grill my own steak but it ended up being a really fun experience! The quality of the cuts were great and the atmosphere and service was excellent as well. The hype is real and I highly recommend this steakhouse!

So much fun! Quality steaks and service. I was very impressed with the appetizers (we had calamari and pork belly) as well as the steak (Buffalo Steak and New York strip prime). Atmosphere is lots of fun. If you’re looking for a fun experience for the family, this is the place.

It turns out that the Eighth Wonder of the World is a baked potato sculpted out of cookie-flavored cream. 10/10, no notes. Also our waitress Megan was insanely nice and so helpful- also no notes.

My wife and I were in steamboat for a minnie vacation and we like to try neat places to eat. At first we were a little concerned about having to cook our own protein for dinner. Upon reading some of the reviews we decided to give it a try. After picking out our steak and chicken we went to the grill and cooked them at the suggested time. Both my steak and my wife's chicken were delicious. The bartender Wesley was friendly and helpful. Next time we are in town we'll have to have 8th Street again.

Came here with a group of friends for happy hour. The aspect of cooking your own meat was interesting and a fun new experience. The food was solid, very extremely well priced especially during the happy hour. But the best part was the waiter, Derrick, who is an absolute legend and made our experience so special. Come here if you don’t mind cooking your own protein and have a well priced meal at a historic steamboat place. And consider yourself lucky if you get Derrick as your server.

We had a group of 7 and decided to stop here on our last night of our trip to Steamboat Springs. We were very pleasantly surprised at how awesome this place was! Madison took really great care of us and was great to chat with, couldn't have asked for better service. Food was excellent, and the hospitality they provide is phenomenal. Would 100% return if we are ever in the area again.

This place is a health inspector fiasco waiting to happen. Prices for cooking your own steak are a waste, just go to the grocery store. None of the cook times for the alleged 500 degree stovetop were accurate. Margin of error for inexperienced cook is too high. Nightmare for large groups (and people who value sanitary dining - watching other guests touch the things you’ll be eating with their bare hands is absolutely disgusting). Asked guy serving steaks about what was gluten free and he stared at us and gave no response. Didn’t even offer to ask a manager. Just stood there. Waitress did a great job for what it was. Salad was good.

So, this is the first time I've gone to a steakhouse where you cook your own protein. Excellent experience!! Step 1, pick your protein. Step 2, grill it and some toast, step 3, return to table and devour with your sides. Overall awesome place, When I return, I'll bring the wife and we'll cook together. Great pricing structure as well!!
