Interesting display covering the history of Fairbanks. It's also next to the start of the Yukon Quest.

Full of potential, the plaza surrounding the "Unknown First Family' statue seems to be abandoned and ignored by the city. With some updates and cleaning this could be a really impactful, educational space that honors the real founders of the area. Loved the first family statue, but it felt weird to honor the exploitation of minerals from the land in plaques beneath the statue. I'd recommend stopping if already downtown.

Awesome plaza located along the Chena River walk and conveniently located and it’s a great spot to take a break to relax while taking in the scenery. Benches are aplenty. Cool looking sculpture surrounded by a lovely water feature.

Beautiful huge statue there infront of the Chena River. Other statues in the area as well. A nice park to walk in if you want to go down town. I wear there on a very snowy day so it was nice to walk and take pics. The ww2 statue is there and the antler arch. Big tower there as well that plays a nice tune every 30 mins.
