The location of this hotel is excellent. The upkeep, however, is highly lacking. There is mold and mildew in the shower, the shower smells like mildew, there are stains on the walls, you can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms and hallway near you. I paid the same amount for this hotel that I recently paid to stay at the Broadmoor. Those who know what that means, get it. Lower the cost or improve the stay. The staff were awesome and super nice!

The location in town is 5*! The hotel staff are so friendly and accommodating. The people you meet make this a cozy and warm experience. The light breakfast was a bonus. Coffee/ tea and water always there for you was so appreciated. This is a bare bone accommodation. They would have a gold mine with some major upgrading! But a place to hang your hat n good night's rest. This is it.

I can’t say enough about the incredible staff and hospitality here. We had a large group and they made it so easy, let us store bags, let us borrow towels for the springs, and were endlessly kind. The rooms are cute, lobby is lovely with coffee and snacks in the morning; and locations couldn’t possibly be better. We will be back!

Tv did not work in Room 7. Bed was great. Hotel is old but quaint. Breakfast was cold cereal. So we went out. Location is ideal for walking everywhere. Noise from Italian restaurant below our rooms was kind of annoying.

This is the best kept secret in steamboat! It totally has a vintage vibe, but with newly renovated rooms, fantastic showers and the nicest people at the front desk you will ever meet! A third of the cost of the mountain a 50 step walk to the bus stop, which takes you directly to skiing! Cannot recommend highly enough!

The location of this hotel is great. However, we had multiple inconveniences upon our arrival. The first room we were put in had a leaking sink and no hot water. After telling the concierge, she moved us to another room which then had no cold water AND the toilet didn’t flush!!! When we told her, there was no apology or recognition for the inconvenience of the situation at all. She simply said we can get a refund but then we had to find an entirely new place to stay at 4 PM. Very unfortunate. I would avoid the Bristol.

Beds were comfortable, parking was easy & location was great.
However, when somebody started taking a shower at 6am, the pipes had a constant (extremely annoying) leak. It woke me up and needs to be addressed.

Excellent location! Simple Accommodations. Lite breakfast, coffee tea water at your ready. A place to hang your hat and get a good night's rest. A gold mine with some upgrades!
