Everything was great. It is always hard when you go to a new resort and need to figure out where to rent. Their location was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The added bonus was being able to store the skis and boots so that we did not have to deal with them at the end of the day. Highly recommend them. Watching the skis get tuned while having a beer was also great

I just LOVED my ski rental experience at Fleischer Sport. There are a lot of places to rent skis close to the ski base in Steamboat, but I believe Fleischer's is the place to go - the staff is incredibly friendly and very willing to share their knowledge in a patient and thoughtful manner. They are not just trying to get folks in and out as quickly as possible - they wanted to hear your questions and were very willing to share their expertise (invaluable and happens way too infrequently). The prices are fair and the equipment is first class: my boots were super comfortable and my friend said he's never rented more comfortable boots. I tried a couple of different size skis and I couldn't believe how smooth the bottom surface was on both pairs - very high quality and well-maintained. This place is less than 300 yards from the gondola at the base, so extremely convenient and they store your skis overnight for free!!!

This place is the best. I love that it’s owned by local steamboat residence not a big chain place. Great laid-back vibe really friendly, knowledgeable people exceptional gear, and has a tap room in the rental place so you can grab a cold one after the ski.

The staff at Fleischer was absolutely incredible. We rented skis here after renting through Christy's for several years prior due to the overnight storage of the skis, poles and boots (on boot dryers)! The rentals were great, but the staff was unmatched - constantly offering to help put on, adjust and take off our boots as needed to make sure that we had the best experience. I would recommend everyone rent from here and I will be a repeat customer for years to come!

Great rental shop. Staff is the best, they are always in such a great mood and so helpful. So convenient to leave stuff in their bins throughout the day and overnight if need be. Best part…. Cold hops on draft at the end of the day. Been using this shop for years when visiting Steamboat.

This is the second year we have rented from Fleischer Sport, and as expected, it was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Getting a family of four ready to ski can be a lot - the staff always offered to help the kids get ready or return gear for the day. The store dogs have always been a highlight as well.
