Fantastic breakfast - this place is awesome!!
Food - extraordinary food quality, the ham in my western omlette tasted like real ham (not some heavily salted, nitrate loaded junk). Super interesting menu. I don't know how anyone can resist that sweet roll - it's as delicious as it looks
Service - super friendly, quick, helpful and attentive
Atmosphere - welcoming, clean

Always wonderful to eat breakfast here. It’s top quality food and service. The pork green chili is one of the best I’ve ever had and the baked goods are fantastic. The corned beef hash is great with a lot of quality meat. The special breakfast waffle from today was great with a lot of good fruit. The oatmeal comes with a lot of options for customization and the skillets are perfect for those wanting a more savory and salty breakfast. The breakfast burrito is full of great meat, not just filler eggs and potatoes. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

Winona’s is a true standout! The food here is absolutely incredible—especially the cheese grits with green chili. They were bursting with flavor and paired perfectly with my vanilla latte, which was smooth, rich, and one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The sausage and over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection, making for a satisfying and hearty breakfast.

What really stood out was the cozy, welcoming vibe. Despite being super packed (and for good reason!), I was able to relax, enjoy my meal, and even spend some time doing Bible study without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind and start the day.

Ok, the cinnamon roll lived up to the HYPE! We got the fruit on the side (you know, to make it healthy). So scrumptious. Really cute little restaurant. Pretty sure we only got seating because we went at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Charming with good service. They did not have Diet Coke, which is not that big of a deal but worth mentioning 🙂

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Located in the heart of Steamboat Springs 🏔️ (right off of Lincoln Ave.) sits Winona’s Restaurant and Bakery! Winona’s is a smallish shop with outside seating that’s been serving up breakfast and lunch favorites for close to 40 years. If you’re with a group make sure to get the cinnamon roll with fruit toppings! 🍓🫐 Other breakfast favorites we tried included the eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito and country breakfast sausage. 🍳🌯 Everything was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating - they even got a few more tshirts for us as souvenirs. Thanks Winona’s! We will be back!

I can't say enough how great this place is! Friendly service, delicious food, nice background music. The carrot cake and cinnamon rolls are a MUST if you're craving something sweet. The Jewish hoagie is a great go-to for a filling and well priced meal, while the fruit parfait is filling, nutritious, light, and gives you a great amount of energy. Buddy from work and I ordered a bit of a spread. Pancakes, parfaits, cinnamon rolls, orange juice, breakfast sandwich, and carrot cake. It was worth every penny!
