I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Truffle Pig in Steamboat Springs, and itā€™s hands-down a 5-star spot! Nestled right at the base of the ski area, the location is unbeatableā€”perfect for a post-slope meal or a cozy evening out. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, with stunning views of Mount Werner and a lively patio thatā€™s ideal for soaking in the mountain vibes.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. I tried the Truffle Pig Bacon Burger, and it might just be the best burger Iā€™ve ever hadā€”juicy Kobe beef, aged cheddar, and those famous truffle fries that live up to the hype with their crispy, flavorful perfection. The Mussels and Fries were another highlight, served in a cast-iron pot with a garlicky white wine sauce that I couldnā€™t get enough of. And the Baby Beet Salad? Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balancedā€”a total treat for the senses.
The service was top-notch, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The cocktail menu is a standout tooā€”creative and expertly crafted, with options like the Battle of the Agaves that paired perfectly with the meal. Truffle Pig nails every detail, from the farm-to-table ingredients to the warm, inviting vibe. Itā€™s a must-visit in Steamboat Springsā€”Iā€™m already looking forward to my next trip back!

Visited Truffle Pig for dinner with my son.
Itā€™s a very nice restaurant with great ambiance and decor. Appetizers were great. We tried foie gras and pig cheeks. Super. Amazing desert ā€œchocolate Galaxyā€
The main dishes were good not great. And kinda expensive. We had a great time.

An overall wonderful dining experience! Have been frequenting Truffle Pig routinely since 2010 and it never disappoints. Food, ambience and service are top notch. I particularly enjoyed the Prime Coulotte Steak, as well as the 'We Meet Again' Old Fashioned. The rest of my family enjoyed their meal and delicious desserts- Chocolate Galaxy and Key Lime Tart. We are looking forward to our next visit. Might I suggest bringing back the Beef Wellington from over a decade ago! Go Vols!

We walked in without a reservation for two people around 8pm on a Thursday night. We were seated within a couple of minutes. Our waiter, Ben, was very helpful and attentive. He suggested a very good Syrah wine. We ordered the Ceasar salad, elk loin, filet minion and broccolini. The ceasar had anchovies in it which wasnā€™t what we were expecting. The broccolini was a little salty. The elk loin and filet were magnificent. We had an old fashioned cream and an expresso martini which were very good. Ben was an exceptional server. We will be going back!

This place came recommended and it was a total miss. There will be a sign for happy hour 2-4p. Avoid this place at all costs. Walk to timber or los locos or slopeside instead. The margarita was disgusting. The hot toddy was equally sour. The food is outrageously priced. 11$ for olives and 50$ for a charcuterie board. The sun sets and the patio is cold. Go elsewhere for apres.

Had a great time dining here for 3 out of my 5 nights while in Steamboat. I only intended to go there one night for dinner but the food and staff were too good to pass up! Ashley in particular was the one who took care of me from behind the bar each night and was extremely friendly and welcoming. She took the time to talk to me and get to know me as well as was always checking in on me or even simply making the effort to acknowledge me when she passed by. All of the other employees were great as well! Even though I was being served by Ashley other bartends and severs asked me how I was doing when they came behind the bar.

The food and drinks were also some of the best Iā€™ve had in Steamboat as well and are definitely worth the price for the quality and amazing presentation. During my three visits there I had the Scallops, Scottish Salmon, and Halibut and while all were 5 star meals the salmon was definitely my favorite as itā€™s my favorite type of fish. I originally intended to visit a different restaurant with my family on the last night of the trip but when Ashley mentioned the Halibut to me after remembering I had seafood the previous 2 visits I couldnā€™t pass up the recommendation.

We came to Truffle Pig twice. The first experience was great- awesome service, good food, and very kid friendly with their menu and hospitality, which is what led us to come a second time. Night and day difference. At our second visit, the service was horrible. Very inattentive wait staff, had to chase them down a few times to order. They didn't provide us with a kids menu or colors until asking multiple times. My husband had the lamb, which came out cold, and I ordered the sea bass, which was totally under cooked. I ate around the fish because the waiter didn't come back to check on how everything turned out and our little one was starting to get restless. I should've flagged him down and sent it back- that's on me. I ended up with very bad food poisoning and a trip to the ER. Super disappointed because our first experience was great, but the second experience was enough for us to never visit again.
