I love this store. Nothing but excellent products, lots of knowledgeable, helpful staff everywhere. Members can volunteer for many local nonprofits and earn significant discounts at the Patch, which also makes generous donations to a different local nonprofit organization every month. Shopping here isn't cheap, but you definitely get the quality that you pay for while supporting the larger community. Great deli/coffee bar/sandwich shop/steam-table. Almost everything in the store is organically grown/humanely raised. Great bulk-foods selection and nutritional supplements section. Just a great place for people who can afford organics and care about our community as well as what we put into our bodies. Remember too that poison-free agriculture is good for every organism on the planet.

Visited today..August 13..see receipt. If you want organic veggies and produce then this is the place to shop!
I love their organic selection of fruits and veggies...so fresh ! The brocollini I picked up today was huge! (See photo).
They also have a meat and fish counter in the back of the store. Remember you will pay quite a bit more for organic meats and fish.
I love their deli section with premade wraps and suishi. They also have coffee and smoothies.
Next to the deli is the self serve salad bar. They also serve a breakfast bar.
This place is huge and very popular! You can get a sandwich and eat inside or outside.
The natural selection is diverse and I always get my vitamins here.
The people working here are kind and helpful. The patrons are health conscious and appreciate all the things offered here at Briar Patch!

Cute little grocery store with lots of options for lunch! They have a deli counter, hot food section, salad bar, made to order burritos, smoothies, and so many prepaid items. It’s a bit pricey but that’s to be expected with the quality of food. I ordered the tantalizing turkey sandwich which was delicious and way to big for me to eat in one sitting! Can’t wait to go back and try more

It's great to have a grocery market like BriarPatch in Nevada County. There's a number of items that are hard to find without having to travel for 45 minutes. The prices are ridiculous, but I'm sure that doesn't surprise you.

This place is amazing. It's a co-op like the one in Sacramento, just a tad smaller.
Everyone is nice, the employees are courteous as well as helpful. They also have a nice, shaded, area with dog poop bag stations above. I like to sit and work or relax while my car is charging.
Oh and let's talk about the new chargers. They JUST activated these beauties. I never saw a ChargePoint fast charger before now. Reasonable and competitively priced, too.
The bonus is it is within walking distance to the local community college, Sierra College.

ridiculous place. got myself a garden salad and found a dead fly, just lying in the container right on top of it. I was SHOCKED. at first I was so excited to support this small vegan friendly business, but from now on - no longer. the way they treat their customers is just something worth a laugh and maybe a lawsuit.

I have tasted so many vibrant drinks. I make my own veggie juice. I am so jealous of this, I have to say it, perfect juice blend. Whoever made this Godly creation needs a raise. Period! And thank you for this. My God...

Their bulk section is awesome!!! Nice cheese selection as well. Seafood we have tried was very fresh.
Packaged foods are expensive but you know you are getting sustainably sourced foods. Keep an eye out for sales.
